Great updates the luke looks great much better than the stock figure.

Love the raider nice review:)

Thanks man!! Overall HT did a really nice job on the Bespin Luke. I just felt the BD version needed to be..well more BD. :lol

I should learn to start listening to my inner voice saying not to buy anymore myself. :)

Re: Joebizz34's Customs, Re-Paints and Kitbashing *Update-Survived Sandy!!*

Very small update. I'm working full time again so I've been too busy to build up new customs. However I had time to upgrade an old one...

I picked up some extra DX Luke head sculpts from a fellow freak here. So far I've replaced one Hasbro head sculpt on my former Hoth X-Wing custom Luke that I did a few years ago.

So far I think it looks good. I thought the head would appear more undersized then it does. All I did was swap the head so far and I may tweek it some more to match everything up to scale. I'm thinking replacing the hands are in order which should help a lot.

I felt the clean head sculpt works better for this and the damaged one I am going to use to swap out my Hasbro head sculpt from my Hoth Luke custom. I'll post pics of that one soon.

Thanks and I agree. :exactly: I can't wait to use the damged head sculpt for my Hoth Luke. I just need to add some of the scratches on the face and done!! I'm thinking that might look a little more undersized wearing the Hasbro helmet. I might have to re-work that a bit.

Great looking luke, nice head sculpt.
The clean look opposed to the dirty outfit is a nice contrast.

The only niggle I would say is it looks like its sitting high compared to the shoulders.
Bit of a giraffe neck:)

No I agree. You are absolutely right about the neck which is why I said that more tweeking will be done. I was just happy it looked as good as it did right from the start without much futzing.

Here's what I plan to do...

Replace Hasbro hands with HT or SS ones that are more in scale with the head.

Shorten the neck itself..or change out the neck plug all together.

Re-tailor the outfit slightly in spots to once again match the scale of the new head sculpt better.

Updated pics will come once done. :)

Cool with a bit of tweaking that will look even better:)

Yes. I will post updated pics when done. I am also working on Hoth Luke with the damaged head as well. I imagine the same type of tweaking will be needed for that one too.

WOW! Awesome Jason, how did you make it? Using a HT body? And the clothes, are the original ones from the SS version?

Hey Jeff!! Thanks and I'm glad you are still enjoying my original Part 7. Like I said in the vid, I am honored that you have him and displaying him proud. :hi5:

Thanks man. I gave the break down in the vid, but here it is...

Kaustic Plastik Muscular body.

Ones1customs head sculpt and hockey mask (re-painted and weathered by me.)

Sideshow Outfit re-worked and weathered by me. This includes some of the rubber skin from the original figure re-cut and glued on to the new body. I also sculpted a new rib cage over the original rib cage on the rubber suit using some epoxy.
