I'll definitely share some pics with you of the biker once I get those parts in. Talking about the speeder bikes, I had to buy another one just so I can the parts I needed since the seller was selling the set. Now I got two bikes, don't know what I should with the extra bike. Maybe i'll sell it or bash an Endor Luke for it if I can get the parts.


I wish I can weather up the hasbro bikes as well, but I lack the skills to do it
Maybe i'll get it repainted instead at a hobby shop near by me.

Yeah an Endor Luke or Leia for that matter is something I thought about too for the second bike. That would be cool. You should go for it.

As far as weathering, just practice on stuff that you don't care about first. Take something dumb like a kids toy or just anything that you can go to town on and try out different things before you do the real thing. When I give the Speeder Bike a go, I'll show you pics. If you like mine, I'll help you mimic it.

Ok guys, here's my YouTube vid for the Marmits and my re-vamped X-Wing Hoth Luke that I showed a while back but finally got around to showing him in a vid. I also shortened the neck on him more to fit to scale of the outfit better. Pics of him as well will follow.

The marmit crew look great.
So does luke with the shorter neck.
My first thoughts were it could go a bit lower but I think its good as it is the more i look.
Love the weathering.
What is the magic powder?

Thanks man. Yeah if you look back at earlier pics of Luke, it definitely needed to be lowered a bit so he looks more to scale now to the outfit.

As far as the magic powder, I got it off eBay. It's called a Weathering and Aging kit. There are many brands but I bought mine from Stoney Mountain. Here's a link below. This has more colors then the one I bought but same idea.

Here's a quick crappy phone pic of my WIP Re-weathered Empire Boba Fett Medimix. I was totally inspired by Seb's version he posted and I mimicked some of what he did to improve the figure. I have weathered the armor and outfit more including adding a blue tint to the jump suit. I also touched up the paint job on the helmet. In this photo, the blue tint is not as noticeable but will be when I take pics with my SDLR Camera. I will have better pics on the way once I am totally finished with him.

Ok so here are more pics of my ROTJ Medimix Boba Fett. Same idea as the ESB one. The helmet, belts, shoes, wookie braids, shoe covers, jetpack and armor are Medicom. The gun, hands, jumpsuit, weapons in the pocket are Sideshow. The body is a Hot Toys Slim.

Speaking of weathering.... My work in progress Biker Scout. Right now it's all Hasbro with the exception of the body swap and hollowed out helmet. My challenge on this one is to see how good I can get it without swapping out Hasbro parts. However I have seen others on eBay and Seb upgrade certain pieces that do greatly improve the figure which is why I still call this a WIP. I may change more things before considering him done. More pics to come but for now here are a few.

My Biker Scout revised. Gloves have been swapped. The upper shoulder pads were swapped with Marmit Stormtrooper ones and the black jumpsuit was switched with the Hasbro Tie Fighter outfit. I also replaced the pouches on his waste with the Sideshow Boba Fett ones repainted white and finally I trimmed down his padding by the crotch area.

Here's my latest revised Hasbro Smowtrooper. Body is swapped and armor repainted. Boots and hands have been replaced. His jumpsuit has been swapped out as well. He is still a WIP. I am going to touch him up more.
