I feel that it's not fair to the guys that's been sitting on the wait list, have it officially sell out, close the wait list and then years later they find a few laying around. Then offer those pieces to the open public. What about the guys who jumped on the wait list first? Now they're all SOL. That's not cool.

That doesn't explain how they do that with stuff sold out years ago. They "found" a gray Hulk PF once last year I think.

chicky said on here that that hold back some stuff for giveaways & contests. if they end up not doing the contests, they put em back up for sale

Several reasons:
First for Batman and Joker I don't care about the EX.
Second I stretched my wallet getting Joker (had to use a different card) and since Joker is shipping soon I knew the charge we be quick to hit and I didn't want to miss out on him cause I knew I would hate myself. Batman on the other hand I think the reg will be around for a while so I can order closer to shipping when hopefully I'll have a job and more $$$ or jump early on the WL if it happens earlier and not pay NRD.

still got a shot at batman ex <30...once it's gone game over unless very early WL

im curious as to how many people think are going to actually pose it with the exclusive head. I actually really like the head and probably going to use it. It looks ugly at some angles but at other angles looks way more terrifying than the reg head.

When a PF regular comes out, Sideshow allows for long term Flex Pay again right? I've got the Batman EX preordered and waitlisted on EX Poison Ivy and I would like to complete the first set (especially since I am guessing they are going to hold off awhile before following up on more Batman stuff), but if I were to go for Joker now via Flex Pay I only get an option to do up to three months I am guessing since he comes out soon.

Yes, he's shipping next month. They seem to only allow the longer Flex-pay Options on Pre-order products with a longer lead time or In-stock items that are more Expensive.

I see. In that case I suppose it wouldn't hurt to just wait and see how Joker turns out in everyone's hands before I try to order him. Hopefully it will have extended Flex options by then.

Well a lot of people are just going to get the EX for the sell back value. Also, a lot of people get the EX for the sake of having some kind of limited version, even if they don't actually make use of the alternate portrait. It's a shame because both kinds of buyers are just hurting the people who honestly just wanted to buy the EX because they like the hat head and intend to display him like that, but I don't expect honesty in a competitive hobby I guess.

well considering how I started this hobby in April of this year and the EX was put on PD last year...........i never had a chance bro. still i see what youre saying, im just hoping i get the convert

Yea coming late to the party sucks. Catching up is the most expensive part of this hobby. But after that it's an awesome feeling paying retail.

haha yeah, thats why when i was preordering batman PF EX i was grinning the whole time thinking "NO WAITLIST THIS TIME!"
