95% fresh on rotten tomatoes... I see it following to around 75-80 percent, but that is AWESOME! Currently 42 of 44 reviews are positive.

saw this the other day without giving anything away its a violent gritty action film with some great moments and id definitely watch it again. how dread should be done

One of my friends in the UK saw it... says its kick ass in the way its exactly what a dredd comic is like, loud, action and intense all the time... and hes very picky about comic book films. Must check it out.

I was actually thinking it would be like a flop show... cant remember many remakes which were better than the original film (other than Batman Begins )

There's actually a few good remakes out there - John Carpenter's 'The Thing' immediately comes to mind.. & I wouldn't call 'Begins' a remake at all, actually.

Holy crap, it's getting amazing reviews! 90% so far? WTF lol

That's cool. Had no interest at all, figured it would be a pile of garbage.

Turns out, it's a decent remake with kick ass visuals, amazing 3D, and gritty violence.

Saw this a week ago and is one of the best films of the year for me, so much more action then I was expecting and the 3d was very good.
