Dinosaur Protection Site which is kinda like some damn fandom site for nerds. Says Sorna was abandoned because of regulations not being upheld by the Costa Rican government. Apparently people started going hunting, that's when around up to 2005 when JW opened they were rescuing the Sorna animals to Nublar.

However being that the island was Restricted, how the hell Ingen was alive after sanctions for the San Diego incident still baffles me..

Even a UN intervention was never thought of with the events of JPIII. :dunno

Also I'd like to add being that 200 Ingen Marlboro men got their *** kicked in 1997 how the hell did Sorna become vacant... I mean especially with 2 subspecies Raptors on the Island...

Because JW is a soft reboot. They don't have to explain ****.

This looks pretty different from the first JW which is good, here's hoping there are many types of dinos throughout the movie. I might catch this one in the theater like the last one, these new movies can only go up for me since TLW might be my most disappointing sequel of all time, and I only liked Sam Neill in JPIII :lol

That’s the thing for me, I’m not interested in the deeper plot of what goes on with InGen and the politics of things, I just want enjoyable movies with cool dinosaurs in them, and the only way to get a dinosaur movie seems to be in the Jurassic franchise. Which is fine, I love the Winston designs and the SFX of the series and who’s to say new designs and sounds would be as good, they might, or they could somehow be better but also far worse.

I take each Jurassic movie almost like a one off, though they seem to be weaving a planned plot line through them of this group working with Wu.

Crikey, this looks bad. Enough with the fake dinosaurs and militarization subplots. Enough with Blue being a sort of "hero," taking on the villains of each film. And did we not learn that bringing dinosaurs to the mainland is not only a bad idea within the film universe, but from a screenwriting perspective (TLW)?

I would've actually liked to see more stories about Sorna. The extended canon outlined by some of the promotional sites suggests that dinosaurs in JP3 like Ceratosaurus, Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Corythosaurus were not only unlisted and illegal breeds, but that they were experimented on after birth for several months. Except they're still somewhat based on real dinosaurs, so they don't read as generic movie monsters.

I think there's enough mystery to explore between the offscreen events of the first three films that this militarization angle is not only stupid, but unnecessary. Of course, as almost all recent reboots have done, JW eliminated most traces of the previous films so we can't exactly go back.

Gonna quote these in response to that latest poster with *checks to remind self of forgettable characters' names* Owen and Claire.

Upon further review, the ruling on the fields stands.

This might be the worst big budget poster I've seen in quite some time. Truly ****** chill inducing.

I still haven't watched the trailer, I'm going to do it after I get home.

Tagline should be ''The park is gone....again....sorry''

Technically it was never gone, it failed and was abandoned, then resurrected, but it remained, as did the dinosaurs if the Rex is truly the original. This is the first film where all remnants of Jurassic Park/World will vanish completely from earth.

I saw the live show. It was good fun!

Is that the one where they have the animatronic dinosaurs actually moving around the arena like they’re alive? There was a showing touring near me at one point, really wanted to check it out but wasn’t able to.

Im excited for the movie.

Sadly this is the only franchise that has dinosaurs,no other franchise has them so im really happy to see them.

And rhe plot is not that bad. A remake of lost world but thats ok

That was one of the most poorly put together trailers I’ve ever seen for a big budget production. It had no flow.

Chris Pratt’s acting is somehow getting worse.. you can’t buy any of his reaction shots to what’s happening around him.

And it’s basically the lost world all over again to top it off. They truly have no new ideas :lol
