You would lol
i like it dark
But will probably get killed by the rex
There’s nothing about this movie that hypes me
The original Jurassic Park will always hold a higher place because there was nothing like it before and it revolutionized film. On top of that, the whole film was made with excitement about the realization of what they were doing and so many people fulfilling dreams.
Jurassic World was pretty self aware, that magic has passed, people aren’t wowed anymore, what once had to be a 100 million dollar film effect is now part of cable TV shows.
What we’re left with is a choice of getting sequels that will just never capture the magic of the original and accepting that for the sake of having more dinosaur movies (because it seems to be JP or nothing) or give up on the franchise and walk away.
Watching dinosaur movies or Godzilla and buying toys from them, for me, is all about being the 10 year old I was in ‘93 and having fun, forgetting for awhile that I’m and adult with all the responsibilities and stresses I have, and in that regard, every film but JP3 has delivered. Sure my adult mind could find any number of issues with the sequels, but I don’t care, the sequels do the same thing for me the original did, and that’s all I’m after. I got so excited by the new Rex poster, I didn’t care how it was put together, I could have fallen on my graphic design background to rip apart the errors and sloppy parts, but I just immediately saw the JP Rex looking badass with the world burning around him and though hell yeah and immediately showed it to everyone I talk to about movies.
Heres to hoping T rex goes into a Theater playing TLJ...He'll go bananas!...Did some post get deleted? Anyway yup. Why do you think so many people went to see JW.
I’ll be honest with you. I didn’t think I’d be wowed by JW. But when the trex breaks through the spino skeleton and roars I smile like a kid again. The final fight with trex and blue is just amazing and something I missed for so long. I didn’t think I missed dinosaurs but I do. JP set a benchmark and can never be replaced but come on. Watching these dinosaurs come to life and rip and tear **** is just has a thing to it that no movie has right now.
I went because trailers promised me a so-bad-its-good B-movie with a blockbuster budget. Why do you think so many people went to see JW.
Jurassic Park is an excellent film.
Jurassic World is a big pile of ****.
That's all that matters when you're a grown up.
