There were some good moments in this but I felt some things happened because it let the story move forward. Overall, I thought it was ok and entertaining enough.

It did put my daughter to sleep though. :lol

It doesn't help that the sound system of the theater I was watching on was a bit crap. Almost like it was missing a large band of the mid frequencies. Made the movie sound tinny/too sibilant and at times fatiguing to the ears. It was distracting to say the least.

Only good thing from that is the movie was free because it was a corporate event.

How many times is Rexy in the film? I know of the first encounter with the Giga (fighting over the deer) and the final battle. Any more?

There's that and the Rex sleeping while being loaded into the plane. I think that was about it.

Thanks. Was hoping for more. :gah:
To be honest, it was more for fan service IMO and didn't serve the story much.

However, what I did like the most here is
Seeing the original cast join up with the rest of the new cast and them working together to get out of the situation they found themselves in.

Reviews are very marmite, love it or hate it. Interested to see where it sits for me. 🤞

Worse than Fallen Kingdom?
Yes!

SO much script immunity...It was great seeing all the main characters from both trilogies together but all that did was quintuple the amount of plot armor on screen. There were like seven major action sequences, all of them with zero tension because you just know they weren't going to kill off so and so.

The whole freaking movie is main characters, at one point I counted eight of them running around in a pack (so ridiculous, lol), and I didn't fear for a single one of them! :gah:

Two and a half hours of "super easy, barely an inconvenience."

Oh and if you're excited about seeing what happens when dinosaurs spread to every continent too bad! That's not even what the plot is about. They introduce a totally new (and idiotic) problem to solve that has literally nothing to do with dinosaurs and then spend all their energy focusing on that.

The only part that had any tension at all was the Malta sequence but that takes place in the first half of the film and if you've watched the trailers then you've already seen most of that part anyway.

I know most of the plot. As soon as I started seeing the negative reviews I wanted to prepare myself for the worst when I see it tomorrow.

I'm still confused as to
why there are so many dinosaurs living in the wild when only a handful of them escaped at the end of Fallen Kingdom. Is this explained?
