Re: Jurassic World

Saw the film at an advanced screening last night, spoiler-free review. Personally I find the critics were too harsh, it's overall a very entertaining movie and miles better than JP 2 and 3, but not quite as good as the first. It's not without its issues - most characters aren't that fleshed out and some of the dialogue was painful - but overall I thought it was a really fun movie and worthy sequel of the first film. I do recommend suspending disbelief, some parts are a bit ridiculous but c'mon it's a movie about a dinosaur theme park. If you're a fan of JP and are paying to see some serious dino mayhem and dino vs dino fights, this is worth the price of admission. Lastly, Chris Pratt is awesome and Blue is my boy!

Re: Jurassic World

In as non-spoilery way as is possible have we been right in thinking that the T-Rex was being held back from trailers for some cool reason?

Re: Jurassic World

Well in a sorta spoiler way, I can tell you the fate of the IRex. A girl I'm friends with from overseas who's a big JP nut posted a recreation of it with her toys.

Rex doesn't kill the IRex

But who did

That giant sea dinosaur does apparently

Re: Jurassic World

No problemo. I still want to see it, but it doesn't even seem like a fitting ending IMO. Unless there is a lead up to this said event. It's hard talking about it without actually spoiling it.

If Goldblum doesn't kill it I'm walking out

Um, sorta? I can't really say they held the T-Rex back since they do show her earlier in the movie. Also with the I-Rex running lose, didn't seem like there was much point in featuring the T-Rex as much.

I will say the final battle is very much a tag team guilty pleasure that we've all secretly been wishing to see :lol

Still haven't read the spoilers but that sounds a lot like

Raptors and T-Rex versus I-Rex!

Re: Jurassic World

I'm wondering if she left her glasses in another room and mistook that for an elephant. :lol
It's either that, or she was joking.

The comments sections of every news and "news" site are scarier places than even YouTube, and even worse hives of scum and villainy than Mos Eisly. :horror
