Re: Jurassic Park 4

well the only reason kids read is because schools force them to. If they didn't have to read they wouldn't.

False crow. Many kids love reading. Hunger games, Harry potter and twilight plus many others. Kids love reading.

Yeah, reading has been the cool new "in" thing again.

That's a good thing then, none of the kids I know read, or their parents, or coworkers, or their kids, here in FL i haven't really met anyone that actually reads books :dunno

no, people love going online and watching movies but no reading any books, my sister was always made fun of when we were younger because she was always reading.

Yeah, i think that says something about where you live :rotfl

Books are often better than their adaptations, or have much more in them that weren't adapted, like the Scouring of the Shire or Tom Bombadil in LOTR. Take the subject here, Jurassic Park - a fantastic movie but an even better book. Nedrys death was much grimmer and there was also a great scene with Muldoon and Gennaro in a jeep trying to sedate a T-rex :lol

I'd love a mini TV series of the book :lecture

Re: Jurassic Park 4

Films are always better than the book counterparts. Always.

Especially Lord of the Rings.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I can't read. :(

Re: Jurassic Park 4

it might be true the book is way better, but you would have never got to see this if it wasn't for being adapted....
(people usually say "read the book" but they fail to realize how amazing it looks to see it)

That's because Florida is a human cesspool of idiots, and ****ing weird nasty ****ers. Most horrible state in the world. I can't believe I lived there for 11 years.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I didn't say I dislike other people's imagination. I just think mine is better.

And I also enjoy reading from time to time, because i'm not a dummy dumb head.

oh okay. Yeah reading the book complements the movie (or the movie complements the book) and it is always nice to read the complete story. so yeah I agree.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

That wasn't what I was saying.

I'm just saying someone else's take on something isn't automatically a better experience.
