Jurassic World (SPOILERS!)

I have came to the conclusion a person so self absorbed must be that person... Wor-Gar... are you Chris Pratt?

Bah. Hogwash, sir. I enjoyed the heck out of this. I went in with low expectations and enjoyed the ride. But this lacked the quality human characters or the actually feeling of danger and suspense the original had. I thought Pratt was the only solid character and I blame the obvious CGI shots and lack of blood for not providing a real sense of danger.

JW was superior to JP in every way except for the initial awe of seeing dinos for the first time and the full Williams score. JP was *very* good but JW totally topped it.

And "lack of blood?" While not gory JW was much bloodier than JP. JW had the bloody I-Rex teeth after it broke out, blood raining through the leaves when it picked up the one security agent, bloody hand on the window of Claire's van, and Hoffman's blood spraying all over the place when Blue killed him. Plus all the bloodied park guests at the end.

JP just had the one shot of SLJ's arm and that's it.

I still can't believe that death is in a PG-13 JP movie!

At least the dude in the helicopter sitting next to Masrani went out really quick when the beak stabbed his heart.

Actually, now that I think about it, add his to the greusome list as well.

This movie was bat **** crazy!

That prison movie with Edward James Olmos and a serrated knife was the most disturbing.
