Same here. Especially since the shot was set up almost identical to that scene in predator where Ahnud is laying in the mud and the Pred splashes down behind him

I loved Blue and T. Rex fighting Indomonous, how the raptor and rex kept attacking and retreating based on their teammate's motions.

I really wanted to see Control Room Girl get eaten. Not because I didn't like her. Maybe I did. I just want everyone to get eaten in a JP movie.

Hoskins needed to die much better. Wu should have lost his arm... come back with a mechanical one.... OR a dino-arm!


Sometimes, I wanted Claire to get eaten.

While I still love the Godzilla atomic breath scene build up with his crackling tail and his airport reveal, I will have to give the monster movie nod to JW.

JW is King of the monsters.

Up to Toho 2016 now.

It isn't the dinos though. Otherwise JPIII, Peter Jackson's King Kong and Land of the Lost would have been record breaking phenomenons. It's the fact that JW is such an all around kickass movie.

Nah...it's the Dinos...plus nostalgia from the original film King Kong was about a monkey, and Land of the Lost...I don't know what that is JP3 was the third film of a dying franchise, but this one is really being sold as a "fresh" start, and yet some how they are marketing it as if it was a sequel to the original film. They even showed the original film on NBC with Spielberg and Pratt hosting the special as way to promote this film. As far as the film making so much money because it's a kickass movie, maybe if this was the second week, but people didn't know if JW was good or bad when it broke all kinds of records during the opening weekend, and the reviews weren't great either. The original cast is not in it and I doubt Chris Pratt is responsible for attracting so many people worldwide, so I have to say that the Dinos are the main attraction, not the quality of the film.

Someone previously posted a devil dinosaur comic cover. And interestingly enough, devil dinosaur has been featuring pretty prominently in the current comic event "secret wars" (more specifically the world war hulk issues). Him and cap are best buddies

That's pretty cool. I doubt we'll see Capt riding a T Rex, but with the success of JW, who knows?

I think the sequel to 2014 has potential since it's supposed to have Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah in it. Edwards can't screw that up, right?

My screening was half kids, including my own!

Even though they just care about their Ipads and their Minecraft, I feel kind of bad for kids these days. The Jurassic World toys pale in comparison to the ones that they put out when the first Jurassic Park came out when I was a kid. Those toys were really awesome.
