You have to wonder if he was sitting still out of terror or because he thought that it wouldn't see him if he didn't move. Poor dude.

Exactly man. Had he also lost some weight, he'd probably be alive. I think that just made it more gruesome lol. In the end I throw Zaras death as the fault of the kid. Had they not run away and she not being on her phone, theyd have been safe during the attack. :nono

Then there was the poor baby triceratops that was picked up by a pteranodon and violently dropped HARD on the ground.

I actually thought the waterfall jump by the boys was kind of freaky because unlike most movies where somebody does something like that the waterfall was so small! I. Rex could have easily walked down there and gotten them and you know that if they came up for air just a second or two earlier it would have.

I'm such a **** cause I laughed at that lol.

The waterfall scene and the whole gyrosphere scene. I would have booked it the second they fell on the ground and they would have been smashed as ****!

I find it amusing that Chronicle Collectibles, not a certain other company, picked up the license for a film that had something called the "Gentle Giants Petting Zoo." :lol

Absolutely.

Two things of note:

1. First female death in the series

2. The stunts for the kill scene were done by McGrath herself. “She was game,” Trevorrow said. “That’s really her, that fall, her under the water, that’s really the actress. She completely committed to what I think is one of the all-time dinosaur deaths in a movie.” https://www.yahoo.com/movies/jurassic-world-death-scene-dimorphodon-pterodactyl-121631328092.html

Also Trevorrow staged the pteranodon attack to be something you could watch over and over and notice something new depending on where you looked.

Bryce said that after she saw the finished movie that she got a bit jealous of all the actors that were eaten by various dinosaurs and ended up wishing that the T-Rex would have gotten her.

I'm pretty sure one of the ACU soldiers that was female died before she did, robbing her of that minor victory :lol

Was there a female soldier in that group that found the I. Rex's tracking implant? The Jurassic wiki said that Zara was the first major on-screen female death but I couldn't think of who else might have died before her.

It was also nice to see this movie break the "humans aren't allowed to kill dinos" rule that was random in the first place because Muldoon was lighting up Raptors left and right in the original novel.

It isn't the dinos though. Otherwise JPIII, Peter Jackson's King Kong and Land of the Lost would have been record breaking phenomenons. It's the fact that JW is such an all around kickass movie.

Wow...are there any dinosaurs in the Marvel universe they can use in an upcoming film? :lol

Someone previously posted a devil dinosaur comic cover. And interestingly enough, devil dinosaur has been featuring pretty prominently in the current comic event "secret wars" (more specifically the world war hulk issues). Him and cap are best buddies :lol

Admit it, we all noticed that Zara's death was unusually cruel for her character. Still an enjoyable kill though.

I might go as far as saying she had the 2nd best scene in the movie.

Absolutely.

as I said before she gets it way harder than anyone else for no reason at all :lol even worse than the bad guy

OK, based on the stellar 3D review from some members here (Jye and Khev I think), I picked up JURASSIC PARK 3D Blu Ray today at Best Buy for $10 (had a coupon).

Can't wait to watch this over dinner tonight. Hope my 3D glasses haven't died... do they run on batteries?

That's an incredible bargain.

Did you already own the 2D BR?

I wish the Indian guy who owned the park had run out of the crashed helicopter on fire and the i-rex just gobbled him up like bbq.

Now you're really getting cruel.

I like it. :lol

I was waiting for IR to jump in behind them.

Seriously, I was waiting for his body to splash in literally behind them. :lol
