Re: Jurassic Park 4

I got to see the show in Philly and the Brachiosaurus and Rex are amazing. All in all it was alot of fun and I'd highly reccomend it if it ever does come around your way.

I hope it does eventually. I would love to take my family to see it. I know my kids would love it! :rock

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I would love to see a giganotosaurus. That should have been in JP3 instead of a spinosaurus. Those things are massive.

I remember when I was little and they just discovered it and it was such a huge deal because t rex was the biggest predator at the time. I remember seeing the skeleton in philly which was massive. Then it was proven that t.rex was still the strongest and most iconic and nothing could take its place, it still reigned he king.:yess:

Don't know why they put that spinosaurus in the movie instead of him. At first it was going to be Baryonyx which is even more stupid mainly because he was a fishing dino. I'll never forget the first poster for the 3rd movie.

Because the director wanted a Dino that looked different from the rest. Hence, throwing out known science at the time, we got that end result. :banghead

Yeah, because everyone hated the T-rex so much that they wanted it to die at the hands of a dinosaur no one cared about. A genius move by the director :lecture

:lol

Re: Jurassic Park 4

Well Allosaurus is a pretty generic looking carnivorous dinosaur, so I doubt they'd put that in a movie with a T-rex.

Dinos like Dilophosaurus, Ceratosaurus and Carnotaurus are all more visually distinct when compared to the rex, so I'd rather have a Carno than an Allo, Giganotosaur or Carcharodontosaur. Hell I wouldn't mind seeing a Acrocanthosaurus. damn I still remember that name
An Allosaurus couldn't carry a film by itself of course, but I'd like to see a small cameo or something.

I'd also like to see a Vastatosaurus.

Joe Johnston is an idiot.
they had other stories for the movie, but he chose the lamest one.

They were about to shoot the movie with this story:
"New writers were brought in to scribe a story involving Pteranodons escaping from Site B and causing a spate of mysterious killings on the mainland, which was to be investigated by Alan Grant and a number of other characters including Billy Brennan, a naturalist named Simone, a tough military attaché, wealthy Paul Roby, and Roby's teenage son Miles. Grant's group crash-lands on the island, while a parallel investigation is being carried out on the mainland. The aviary sequence and laboratory set piece were initially much longer and more complex, including Velociraptors stealthily entering the hatchery as the team spends the night there. Sets, costumes, and props were built for this version, before Johnston rejected the entire script five weeks before filming in order to pursue the "rescue mission" plot"

To me that sounded a lot better than the "Home Alone in Jurassic Park" movie we got. I seriously hate what they did for JP3. it was ridiculous and retarded.

I remember the other story they were working on had Grant living on the Island studying the dinosaurs, and a group of college kids who get marooned on Isla Sorna.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I was eleven when I saw jp3 and it pissed me off so much when T. rex died. It's funny because the bite force from the Rex on the spinos neck should of killed it instantly. I say bring in a larger more dangerous incarnation of T. rex .

I think that's what they'll do. A super T-Rex.

Eddy was the true badass. Ripped apart by two Rex's while trying to pull the trailer up the cliff

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I loved the original T-Rex toy I used to have when I was a child. It was red and had black patterns. They might give the T-Rex a new colour scheme for JPIV.

I still have that lol, somewere.

there going to be on the original island, so lets hope the original huge T rex is there too.:monkey1:monkey4
