Re: Jurassic Park 4

RIP Pete Postlethwaite :monkey2

Yea he was a great actor. I also thought that Roland had one of more satifying and complete character arcs. Alan's and Ian's get so muddled with the being drawn back in a second time. And as much as I love Muldoon he's a bit one dimensional in just being against the dinos from the start. Roland goes from the ultimate hunter to seeing his own friends being hunted and killed and sort of has this realisation that he's no better than the monsters and that the Rex is just going to be on display in a zoo somewhere and walks away from that life. Too bad Speilberg was just starting his jump the shark phase and put in that mainland ending, if they had tied it up on Sorna I think TLW would get alot more credit. The movie was and to me anyway, is just as exciting as the first right upto that point they head back to San Diego.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I enjoy TLW as much as the first one, seeing the rex rampaging through the city is pretty cool but yeah adds nothing to the overall plot.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

That was InGen's whole reason for going to the island. Capture dinosaurs, bring them back to the mainland for their little theme park. Peter Ludlow thought he could do it better than John Hammond. Of coarse that bite him in the ***. :D

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I was eleven when I saw jp3 and it pissed me off so much when T. rex died. It's funny because the bite force from the Rex on the spinos neck should of killed it instantly. I say bring in a larger more dangerous incarnation of T. rex .

I think that's what they'll do. A super T-Rex.

The toy company already beat the producers to the punch. :lecture

Re: Jurassic Park 4

Interesting enough. Sounds a little like a combination of Jaws 3 (that's the one with Jaws in Sea World, right?) and Deep Blue Sea (smart sharks). Just (mostly) on land this time.

Ha! that's a good point.

I personally would love if this is what is going to actually happen. sounds completely different than the other ones so it would be fresh, and it could be really cool to see.

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I think, if this plot is true, it walks a FINE line. It could be awesome, but man, if it fails, it's gonna fail hard. :lol

Re: Jurassic Park 4

Nature finds a way. That's one big pile of ****. The difference is that when Pirates of the Carribean breaks down, the Pirates don't eat the tourists. Do you want some Ice Cream?

Re: Jurassic Park 4

Seriously, though, who comes up with this ****? Wouldn't it just be easier to only breed the non-lethal Dinos that just eat vegetables, or, at the very least, if you absolutely must breed the badasses, couldn't you just drug them up, pull their teeth, and declaw them, like cats?

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I think it sounds pretty decent. Although it just makes me feel bad there still isn't a real Jurassic Park. This has always been one of those ideas that SHOULD work! If only that pesky DNA wasn't so degraded over millions of years :(

Re: Jurassic Park 4

It does sound like a cool idea for a movie, but, damn, those silly scientists/theme park owners just never learn.:lol

Re: Jurassic Park 4

I have a theory on who the big bad dinosaur is going to be in this one. I think they might go with Carnotaurus. It's a pretty cool looking carnivorous dinosaur. In The Lost World novel, Crichton took some creative liberties and added a camouflage adaptation to them so they could sneak up on prey undetected. That seems like it might fit some of the details given in that article. I could be way off base, though.
