IR would've worked out just fine for the park had he been created with good intentions, but people with nefarious secret motives built him for war while selling him off as just "scarier" for the patrons to enjoy.

InGen added their secret sauce in him which made him much more dangerous than he had to be.

But I like the idea Clown mentioned, competing parks, must be bigger, better.

I think everyone is forgetting that the I-Rex as an attraction was just a smokescreen for InGen's bigger plan to use dinosaurs as weapons.

For some reason that giant part of the plot seems to get lost on a lot of people. lol

Don't use the I-Rex as a tourist attraction piece then. There are multiple islands they have to choose from to place the damn thing on for military testing, away from guests.

Easier said than done.

Funding and Government Oversight.

Maybe Masrani was too cheap to grease some government palms.

FIFA would've had a secret Dino military island in 2 seconds flat.

Besides, we all know Disney is extracting our DNA under the guise of family entertainment.

I get the metaphor and the idea of the people in the film getting bored with Dinos mirroring how people felt in real life about the JP franchise, but there are ways of making it more believable. Ten years is not really that long for people to just be accustomed to Dinos. Why not make the film take place 50 years into the future? Not only that, how about if they aren't the only Dino park in town, and they have to compete with another place in some other place/country and their attractions, like Disney does with Universal and the other theme parks.

Yeah, I understood it was a metaphor. Hell, the hipster computer guy with the "OG" Jurassic Park shirt was a blatant, meta reference to pretty much everything. :lol I just didn't buy it when the movie wants the audience to believe that people would be bored with these animals and would always need some kind of crazy scheme (making hundreds of deadly carnivores or making their own, huge, killer Dino without any safe guard measures or protocols) to make them keep coming back. It just seemed silly.

Even the simplicity of the original Jurassic Park where you hop into a jeep and travel on a linear path, past every species paddock wouldn't get old. ****ing Jurassic World was huge, had life size, holographic monitors AND gyrospheres that let you travel with herds of dinosaurs! C'mon now.

I don't mean it's intended to imply we're bored of the JP franchise, just that audiences and consumers are fickle these days. "I'm bored of my new iphone that I just got...well good news a new one is coming out next year" heck superheroes are starting to become stale for some. It's a general idea that's just being applied as a plot device here in this universe to enable the idea and reason behind the IRex creation. Only later, we get introduced to the nefarious militarization plot. If you don't buyt it, thats fine. Maybe that's part of the denial consumers have with themselves these days. :lol just go with it main :panic:

No but yeah...I don't think I'd ever get bored of the gyrosphere thing...that's insane! :lol peoples be crazy

I think everyone is forgetting that the I-Rex as an attraction was just a smokescreen for InGen's bigger plan to use dinosaurs as weapons.

Yeah. And the only people who knew about what went into this thing was Dr. Wu and Hoskins.

Kudos to Biojex and greygoose for paying attention to the movie. :D

And what it had to say about many people in this day and age being easily bored and unenthusiastic was right on point. You're either the older or the younger brother. I'm very happy to still be the younger.

Jurassic World had been open for 10 years which means an entire generation of elementary school children have lived their lives with dinosaurs being just another animal on Earth and not magical extinct beasts from a bygone age. To them JW would be just a fancier San Diego Zoo/Sea World/Busch Gardens.

What they should do is replace the CG footage of Indominous every week with a totally new design. You know, up the "wow" factor.

Don't even put that out in the ether.

You know some day there will be a movie that will add a new scene each week (at selected theaters) to guarantee repeat viewings. It's like 3D and IMAX and 2D; some people need to see their new favorite movie in every format. Matter of time before Hollywood actual adds "deleted" scenes to the mix to boost attendance.

What if Jurassic World announced an Alternate Ending coming to theaters in July?
