I remember when AOTC was in theaters you actually did get a slightly different version depending on whether you saw the film or digital version. The digital version had a couple minor things like Padme grabbing Anakin's robot hand during their wedding (which is what ended up on DVD and blu-ray as well) and I think a longer pan showing the two "Millenium Falcons" parked on Naboo. Just random little stuff.

Kudos to Biojex and greygoose for paying attention to the movie. :D

And what it had to say about many people in this day and age being easily bored and unenthusiastic was right on point. You're either the older or the younger brother. I'm very happy to still be the younger.

Jurassic World had been open for 10 years which means an entire generation of elementary school children have lived their lives with dinosaurs being just another animal on Earth and not magical extinct beasts from a bygone age. To them JW would be just a fancier San Diego Zoo/Sea World/Busch Gardens.

Another great example there Khev.

I worked with children for 7 years. Those ****ers are fickle. Every now and then we'd show a movie in class and they'd complain and ask if they could just go on their phones :lol

Plus, not that this has much weight to any debate, but I had read this article pretty soon before I saw JW, so it was still fresh in my mind. So the older brother on his phone at the Mosasaurus show seemed very relevant. Yes I know a whale isn't as cool as seeing a de-extinct dinosaur...but still...I think it's applicable. And can happen with even the most interesting things.

Indeed. "Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it." In 1986 we were all what do you mean stop and look around? And that's just it. LITERALLY stop and look around once in a while. :lol

Oh look a hot girl... *dude keeps looking at phone* people... :cuckoo: Reminds me of my damn friend on psn...
hey want to play bf4?
Sure.
Hey why haven't you spawned?
I'm on Mortal Combat on pc.

-_-

Kid, I have no idea what you just said?

:lol

:gah:

Okay... I play BATTLEFIELD 4 on PS3 with a online friend...

When I usually get asked to join his party he just talks or plays a pc game while trying to play this game with me...

It annoying...

That's written out much better, thank you.

What's "spawned"? And why should he?

Okay... well... you press the flag position to put your avatar character in game to play the shooter... Why do I feel like I'm being ****ed with atm... lolz

Had an absolutely epic night at the theater tonight.

Went to see The Terminator on the big screen. Got there early, ducked into Jurassic World just in time to see Zara meet up with the kids as the pteranodons attacked. Watched her get eaten then saw THE TERMINATOR!!! Pristine picture quality, pounding sound, I've grown up with that film but it has never been as epic as it was tonight. It was surreal. I never noticed the quite nasty bite marks Reese had on his hand from Sarah's bite until seeing it on the big screen.

When it was over JAWS was still playing down the hall so I bounced in and grabbed a seat right as they were lowering Hooper's cage into the water. Got to see the rest of the film from that point on. So good.

When that was over I saw that AoU was almost finished in a third auditorium so I headed in just in time to see the Helicarrier emerge from the clouds and watched the rest of the that movie as well. I admit even after seeing Terminator and the ending of JAWS I *still* smiled like a silly kid when those drums started playing as the whole team defended the Core.

The only thing that would have made the night perfect was Fury Road but it's only playing like twice a day on one screen at that theater and wasn't starting for a full hour after AoU concluded. But still, one hell of a night at the movies.

Yes in one trip to the movies I saw the original T-800, Kyle Reese, Sarah Connor, Martin Body, Matt Hooper, Quint, Bruce the shark, every Avenger, Ultron, and even poor Zara. Tonight won't soon be topped. :lol

That's incredible. From the 70's to today. Covering 3 different decades. All in walking distance!

I-rex
Terminator
Jaws
Ultron

Bad ass night. And you saw all the best parts.
