I like people trying to say Dinosaur movies need to have Dinosaurs acting realistc. :lol

Just because JP1 is a superior movie to JW does it mean its any less ridiculous than JW, because it is not.

Dinosaurs shouldn't act, they should just eat people :Wizard

Do you need to use the exact word for me to infer your opinion? No. That's a child's argument.

Painful experience, is that better?

Jesus, you act like I just punched your first born child in the face. I don't even know why you're being so sensitive, I just posted that I agree with someone that didn't like the film :huh

No I'm not, please don't take my post as a personal attack. I was joking, because honestly, no offense, I find Escape from NY to be proposterous -- thus I used that term to link the two movies ironically. Seriously, not offended that you don't like JW. I totally get why. I've been saying all along I wonder if this 'love' will last for this movie because it is pretty corny... and corn usually doesn't last. But I am rooting for this movie because I had such a fun time watching it in the theater. Don't know why. Can only attribute it to the fact that its well done entertainment.

No harm, no foul. There's plenty of "classics" that people love on this board that I found uninteresting and boring when I watched them. Were all snowflakes :lol

Yep, like Titanic... I really can't stand that movie but it was King of the World for a long time, replaced by Blue Fairies the Movie. So I'm rooting for the dinos now.

When I was younger, the film got me into the history of the ship like it did with most people... as a movie? It stinks on ice, I only watch it for the sinking and the pubic wig and bewbz.

Planning to go for a fifth time this weekend.
I readily admit the characters are a little cardboard and out of sync (come on, Bryce didn't even kiss Pratt on the mouth) and the plot needed some serious re-tooling but I can't help but feel giddy about seeing dinosaurs on the big screen again.

I went in a perfect mixture of:

And

And ended coming away thinking "It could have been soooo much worse".

Modern movies are boring to me so I could see how it could have been really awful. At least you can salvage some of the story.

I enjoy it from the Frankenstein perspective. With Owen's comments about the I-Rex not having any positive associations other than the feeding crane, being raised in isolation, and the fact that she finally got released only to be on input overload, what could one expect?

Seeing her chomped and drowned makes me sad every time.

Impressive! How many times do you see movies you really like?

Heh heh. I don't see too many movies this much. Prolly the last time was 5 or 6 for TDK and 3 for TDKR but that movie made me angrier each time so I think it was an absorption thing. I had to make sure it was really that ridiculous, rofl.

Not posted yet???

Haha!

Saw it today. I love Chris Pratt.

Felt great seeing dinosaurs on the big screen again. Story was a bit meh. Way better than Lost world or JP 3.

The Raptor chase scene with Owen riding his bike was seriously cool.

My GF jumped when a seagull flew overhead while we were walking home, she did not like the flying dinosaurs ;)

and so we have the JW director to direct Episode 9...Thanks Disney..just because JW made a zillion bucks..
