Jurassic World Lines Up Shooting Locations in Hawaii and Louisiana

One of 2015's most highly anticipated blockbusters, director Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World is getting ready to enter production and has today revealed plans to lens in both Hawaii and Louisiana. Midweek reports that the production will shoot for four weeks on Oahu in April and then two weeks on Kauai. Then, as revealed today by The Times-Picayune, the shoot will head to New Orleans, Louisiana for 11 weeks beginning in June.

Set to star Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson and Irrfan Khan, Jurassic World will be directed by Trevorrow from a draft of the screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing.

Jurassic World will be shot in 3D and is scheduled for a June 12, 2015 release.

When they changed the title and logo from Jurassic Park IV to Jurassic World they kept the Rex skeleton in the logo so I'm positive we will see the Rex again (hopefully in all her glory).

It was the wrong decision to kill Rex off in JP3, and I think the studios know that... hopefully.

I remember being in the cinema and seeing the Rex again and thinking yeah, ****'s about to go down. Maybe it was because I was young that I never realised the Spino on the poster.

I liked it at first, being 14 and seeing dinosaurs on screen again was a treat I guess. It took some manning up over the years to realise how much I didn't really like it. A big part of not liking it is that they **** all over the Rex!

The only thing that made the film worth a damn was Stan Winston's practical effects.

Yeah that sub adult is the one the spino killed, the fight would have lasted longer. Not going into that again though.

I really hated it too. really really hated that movie.

It just felt bad watching it. The dinosaurs were great but it felt uncomfortable. felt awkward. the human characters were crap,

Yeah I thought lost world was a good sequel. Jp3 rubbish

I know exactly what you're talking about. How the hell did the Spinosaurus come out of no where and be no where to be seen in The Lost World? They weren't making anymore Dinos at that point
