That's not the case at all, I actually had a lot of great conversations with him, up to and including the last couple of days but I know exactly why you're interpreting the situation the way that you are. And I don't blame you for coming to that conclusion based on what's being fed to you. I know the source, I know what's being said, and it's okay. Nothing is being held against anyone and that's something that you'll just have to decide for yourself if you believe or not.

I actually like going back and forth with you and I'm not sure that I'd ever want for us to start agreeing on things, it's just too much fun having you in your camp and me in mine. But...I hear your position and if you don't respond to me then believe me it'll be fine bud.



No not blind. But that doesn't mean that what you're seeing is necessarily 100% accurate either.

I absolutely believe everything I'm being fed because I was in a similar position to Difabio. As soon as I got back and posted in the Homecoming thread and other threads before that you just kept giving that heads up about threadcrapping and it took other members like Jye and GeneralZod to have to tell you I'm clearly not breaking rules and a ton of stuff got deleted for no reason. I've been threatened by you multiple times to not threadcrap, then I get a message today from you that this whole time I was fine and never trolled. Clearly you go after people when you don't like what they have to say about movies you love, and when you do like what they have to say you act like their best friend.

So yea, unlike other members here I won't talk behind your back while being super nice to you in the open, I won't throw out any subliminal messages or anything like that, I'll just stick to conversing with other members that I get along with and if I somehow break any rules I guess just let me know and I'll do my best to not continue on.

I will be staying clear by not interacting with them at all. I don't think any of us need to have an argument with them to let them know how we feel. I said my peace and that's that. I'll just stick to talking to the regular members on here that can actually handle a discussion.

I know that DiFabio and others are trumpeting him as this innocent everyman and that "what happened to him could happen to you, dun, dun, dunnn" but he dug his own grave with his own behavior. Believe me, none of you are in the same position as him, lol.

Have you actually done the math on such statements though? If I "go after people when I don't like what they have to say about movies I love" then shouldn't, I don't know, SNIKT1950 be banned? Or feel like I'm gunning for him? I could rattle off quite a few people that I constantly disagree with (no I won't call out anyone else by name because I know that puts you in an awkward "who do I side with" position) but the point is no one has ever gotten a single infraction from me because I disagreed with them. I think in the 8 years I've been a mod I've permanently banned all of three people and two of them were spamming the place with porn. The third was someone who had previously been permabanned and then came back with a new account.

I might be one of the least trigger happy mods here. Yes I'll clean up threads that go off the rails but as I've said before sometimes I get caught up in the tangents along with everyone else and delete my own posts, lol.

I know what's being spun here. That someone got banned because I and/or others had a vindictive grudge or that we were angry that someone dared disagree with us. But I think if you do the math and again "consider the source" of what you're hearing you might, just might, realize that there's more to it than that.

It's also a fact that he was only really have disagreements with you Snoop and Ink when in the movie section, then you guys have a discussion and he gets banned? I'd be stupid to think this guy who has such horrible behavior got banned when literally nobody wants him banned except for 3 Mods.

I understand I'm not in the exact same position as him because I've yet to even receive an infraction since I've been a member here, but I do know you were indirectly building this narrative that I was a threadcrapper and I received many unjust warnings which lead me to stop posting.

Because "the entire movie section" doesn't have the full picture, you only see posts that aren't deleted and can only react to a biased narrative that is being fed to you. Namely "three mods have it in for DiFabio." I know that's what you were told, and I know why you were told that, that just isn't the full story my friend. And honestly I'm not going to give the full story because it was Darklord Dave's call and I'm not going to speak for him.

No, it's not a fact and once again with the "3 Mods." Trash Panda didn't even participate in any of these discussions that I've seen since DiFabio's return. But I know, it's the impression that you have based on what you've been told and it also sounds like it's being bolstered by hard feelings toward me on account of what I saw as "thread crapping" in the past.

Normally this would be total "take it to PM" dialogue but I know that there are a good number of you who received the same narrative and so again I say, do the math and consider the source....

That's true, he didn't break any rules....this time, which is what counts, not the previous infractions.

I am friendly with Difabio, and think he is a good guy who makes the forum more enjoyable. So, frankly, I think it sucks that he's banned again, possibly for good.

However, I also think the narrative is a bit misleading as to why he is gone. As he knows, he was initially banned for posting something that clearly violated forum rules. I don't know what else he was infracted for prior to that, but the final blow came from such a post, even if the post was not meant to be as offensive as it came across to some others. I don't know that that infraction was done out of vindictiveness toward him specifically. And as I posted earlier, he was banned today by Darklord Dave, not another mod. Dave has discretion to ignore or heed advice from any moderator that he chooses, so the ultimate responsibility falls on his shoulders. If he feels a member isn't good for the forum, for any reason, then he can ban them.

So, yes, Difabio got in arguments with certain mods here and there, and there is a larger argument over forum policy that is underpinning a lot of this discussion, but i don't know that either of those things should take the bulk of the blame here. This was Dave's decision, not Khev's or Ink's or whomever.
