Get the word out that Snyder and WB have 'redeemed' themselves with Justice League.

They've done it before with Batman & Robin --> Batman Begins but of course that was with a completely different filmmaking team. From a marketing perspective I think they should be pretty quiet about reminding everyone that this will be Snyder once again.

Not even the comics use it anymore, good riddance. Doesn't work for the character in general at all, in any setting, unless it's a superfriends/silver age setting.

Buuuuuuut, maybe there's a way they can work blue accents here and there, it could work.

And I for one am curious to see a yellow oval, preferably without the blue. a Homage to Keaton's suit.

I've always had a soft spot for the yellow oval.

Or me :yess: :hi5:

The hate campaign was probably the most freakish thing I've seen ever in terms of hate campaigns. Everybody tried to make money or a name for themselves out of it, and WB didn't even put up a fight.

It was like the movie was the female Ghostbusters.

:lol

:hi5:

I forgot the Zizou though. :lol

I don't think you could do a blue version of Ben's BvS suit; the countless "Hush" inspired manips showed that, but I feel like a leaner, more athletic, Adams-inspired suit with somewhat longer ears could work well.

Everyone? The geeks, fanboys and comic book fans?
The average audience never pay attention to who direct what, save when its James Cameron or Woody Allen.

JLA Will suffer the same thing.
Just look at the reactions to JK simons pics.
Its gonna get ugly.
But Snyder and co Will soldier on so its all good :)

I hope they get rid of the ugly Frank Miller Bat logo. It was a nice homage along with the iron bat suit, but a smaller, more elegant jim lee style symbol would be much better combined with the blue and grey.

Hopefully, they are jut slowly moving away from the Frank Miller influence, and giving us a classic Batman with the blue and yellow emblem. That was the definitive Batman design for four decades, so it'd be great to see it on film. Just because he wears some dark shades of blue it doesn't make him less threatening. He's still very much a nucternal character.

Yeah I agree, Blue and grey just doesn't work with the fatbat and the duct tape texture, I love those 2 things btw.

The blue doesn't work at all with this design, like someone else mentioned.

Maybe when they do a prequel movie with younger, optimistic Batman they can do a bit of blue and longer ears, I can get behind that.

Just no Jim Lee :lol, Neal Adams is fine, but no Jim Lee.

Superman's blue. Looks fine. Batman can be blue. Confirmed.

Yep. Blue and grey can look awesome for night missions. Confirmed.

Nothing to do with realism or grittiness, black just works better with the character.

But then again, blue Black Panther would be cool, I guess, it's comics after all, who cares? It's not like night light reflecting on black means the suit is blue.

Batfleck had golden belt, shoe noses and knuckles.
It isn't less silly than yellow oval bat logo, just a different kind of silliness.

The Josh got drunk again.
Not GRITTY AND REALISTIC IF BLUE! Get with the program. Also, given that this character was wearing blue for only about 90% of his existence, of course blue doesn't work for this character, so good point there.

Grey and black certainly are the correct colors for an angry tormented person.

I know Blue is sometimes associated with sadness but sadness is not the same as rage.

So electrical tape grey it should remain. :lol
