The problem i have with their suits is that it looks like they all share the same tailor. Superman and Batman's suit now look too similar.

I liked that trailer aswell. However, what can I say, I'm confused. I'm confused as to how a Justice League film, in which there will presumably be some huge threat that requires the combined forces of all these superheroes to fight against it, can have a lighter tone than MOS and BvS. It makes no sense to me. I mean it's a welcome shot in the arm for this DCCU but it creates a weird discrepancy with the previous films; it shows them up as the humourless, self-aggrandizing borefests they were - to me at least.

Because fans clamored for a more "fun" movie after BvS, even though being too dark wasn't the problem with BvS. :huh

I think it looks too "marvelized". I get people thought BvS was a bit too "dark" but this looks like the fun you'll have at avengers.

Trailer was great. Just hope it doesn't try to become a comedy to please all the peeps that disliked B vs S. I personally liked the more serious tone of that movie and hope it shows up in JL.

Get rid of the black lines and we have a decent Flash costume.

same crap they did with Daredevil..... dont know why these producers do this crap....

There aint NOTHING wrong with that :wink1:

Ditto.

While I didn't have a problems with DD's black lined suit, I was hoping that it would be all red.

After watchin' the trailer second time... I'm fine with it.
Aquamomoa is bad ass, Barry Miller is awkwardly funny, Batfleck is relaxed.
Outside of the bleak tone, feels like a DC film I actually wanted.

Basically I'm saying that the other films should have been more ''fun'' like this to begin with. These are superhero movies not Terrence Malick or something.

I don't understand why people believe superhero movies have to be fun. Nolan's Bat films weren't fun at all, Singer's X-Men films weren't fun either, they were good movies which is why they were successful. Daredevil on television isn't fun at all, yet it absolutely smokes Agents of Shield and pretty much every other superhero show currently on television.

Also, isn't Justice League doing the same thing Avengers was doing? Avengers is probably the lightest movie of Phase 1.

No, no. Avengers carried on the tone of all the previous films. Not the same.

Notice I put the word fun in quotation marks. It wasn't my word choice. I'm talking about having some humour and not just ramming Jesus or God metaphors down our throats for 2 hours of film, the delusions of some lofty grandeur the DCCU has had so far.

As for X-men - those movies had plenty of humour.

Looks great, the tone was just right for a Justice League film. Also glad they didn’t spoil anything with Superman. We all know he’s coming back in this film, but its nice that they didn’t show it right off the bat.

All the characters looked great, Aquaman being the better visually of the new heroes. Flash’s outfit looks great for the cinematic universe. Makes more sense as well that there would be light armor on it considering how fast he runs. Cyborg looks just like cyborg of course.

I’m just excited that the average person will hopefully have their opinions changed on Aquaman. Because avid comic readers already know he’s awesome. He’s such a great character and is powerset is really cool. He’s got strength to compete with WW and Supes, just added with telepathy mind control (no he doesn’t talk to fish), and the added ability to breathe underwater and survive any depth/pressure.

Also, using White Stripes for your trailer? VERY nice choice!

I gotta disagree, Iron Man 1 didn't feel like a children's movie, either did The Incredible Hulk, Thor and even TFA at times. The Avengers on the other hand felt like it was aimed at children, the other films are a bit more balanced in drama and humor while The Avengers was 2 hours of straight "fun".

I respect Snyder and WB for trying to make more than just an entertaining movie, that's how you end up with The Dark Knights, Spiderman 2's and X2's of the genre but playing it safe and just making something "fun" almost feels like a waste of time now. It's a cheap way to make a quick buck, every superhero movie adopting that tone is really going to speed up superhero fatigue.

Let DC be serious and let Marvel be fun, I prefer that than having everything feel like it's part of the MCU.
