They really try making JLA follows Marvel formula unless it's not working, you still can see Synder style among flat jokes. DCEU is such a mess a whole, they really get wrong signal that they need to follow Marvel formula to success meanwhile the real problem with DCEU is confusing and indecisive. The root problem is they rushed everything and do not providing enough background story for characters. WW is good because it's stand alone movie and they actually got enough time for filming. Another problem is they trust Synder as a big guy, I am not hating him but he is just too indecisive and seems do not understand DC mytho. They should let Geoff Johns handle DCEU.

Geoff Johns co-wrote Aquaman, let's just see if that movie will be good. If movie turn out good, you know a problem and how to fix it. Put Geoff Johns as executive and co-write all DCEU.

How can a multimillion company with hundreds of people working be this incompetent?

1. Last year WB released a Middle Earth "Collector's Edition" for ~$800. Middle Earth fans had a meltdown as the same material could be had for ~125$ and those fans already owned those disks. Peter Jackson said that unreleased footage - especially LOTR footage on film that would need restoration work - was something WB had opted not to pay for.

E.g. fans rebelled and you can pick up this nice packaging for about 50% off this year. WB refused to invest in what fans really wanted.:mad::mad: Those same fans would have happily shelled out for a "real" collector set (unreleased footage).

2. https://www.businessinsider.com/why-warner-bros-picked-ben-affleck-to-play-batman-2013-8

Affleck and Snyder are in, Christian Bale and Nolan are out. For fans, Affleck as Batman might not immediately seem the best choice.
But as a business decision, Warner Brother's casting Affleck is a no brainer. They had to do it.

Warner Brothers needs a new powerhouse star after losing Legendary Pictures

Affleck is that star. He acts. He directs. He brings in the money. Since 2010, Ben Affleck has brought "The Town" (also Legendary) and Oscar winner "Argo" to screen for WB.

So earlier this summer, when Warner Bros. lost its huge distributor partner Legendary Pictures to Universal Pictures, some major decisions had to get made.

Top execs are likely hyper aware of the two Warner Bros. big money-makers (other than the "Lord of the Rings" franchise which will end after 2014) which were deals with Legendary Pictures and a certain actor and director by the name of Ben Affleck.

There's more articles like that but basically whether Affleck is talented or not, it was another BUSINESS DECISION. Not casting because an actor is the absolute best for the part. Casting for business. It's not like RDJ who fought for the part of Iron Man.

IMO that's WB's problem. Movie-making is a business, sure. But IMO there's no-one at WB who feels a thing about the properties they are managing, or is in touch with the fan base. At all:(. There's no face to WB like Kevin Feige, who was willing to fight his bosses. I don't like Snyder's style but at least he HAD a style.

Now there's Josh Whedon - maybe a logical backup on paper - but this was the same guy who said Avengers 2 "broke him". IMO not what you want to hear when he's been handed ANOTHER multi-character film. But, Whedon can handle a big-budget picture. He's experienced. Why not just let him re-do JL from scratch, so there's some tonal consistency? Why did JL have to be 2 hours, no matter what? Why not table JL for a while, and fast-track solo films instead? Why not do one bloody day's filming in a corn field?:(

Pretty different than the Russos, who were talking about what they wanted to do with Infinity Wars the second they got the reins. Right now both Feige and the Russos talk about the fans and the characters being "beloved". James Gunn is on Twitter. Who at WB is coming to cons to talk to the fans?

WB has no love for its business or its customers. Potential profit comes first. They don't get that caring brings MORE profit and more POTENTIAL profit from invested fans. And I'm real sorry for the DC characters esp. Batman. At least Sony wised up and did the smart thing and went to Marvel.

Does that mean if I bought 3 tickets for tonight i’m part of the problem and not the solution?
Hopefully it won't crack a billion.

It's the only way to be sure.

I still cannot fathom they keep backing Snyder, hopefully this is it.

Snyder's out yo, maybe as producer but Geoff Johns is the boss now.

Ill see it tonight and wait for the "justice league: the real movie as intended by zack snyder without joss and wb interference which you guys will love this time for sure" cut
