Justice League Movie (Nov 17th, 2017)

Honestly why are alot of you guys on this page....just bashing a movie that ye havent seen and are planning NOT to see. Alot of sad tossers with clearly nothing better to do. There are a load of weird sections on this site that I dont click on...why dont people who dislike DC just do the bloody same.

I don't think anyone here "doesn't like DC" though. Pretty much everyone wanted this to be good and at the very least likes the characters. I haven't seen it and probably won't like it but you're still free to praise the movie without being harassed. Otherwise it's Day 1 of a highly anticipated movie so people will naturally be weighing in on things.

I haven't seen it yet, but planing on seeing it tomorrow. I hope I like it, I want to like it but from what I've been reading I don't know if I will.

It actually makes me sad is to see the new DC opening card, that I think debuted with WW, all those characters in shadow with only the main heavy hitters highlighted knowing that JL box office failure will only make things harder for those characters to be represented now.

No Kingdom Come for us.

Then we have Marvel making more with a cgi racoon and tree than JL.

I’m going to be very sincere here I really feel bad for the DC actors.

Well except for Affleck, Cavill, Gadot, Momoa, Ezra and the black guy.

Superman he wakes up super angry even though Batman saved his mom.

BUT NO IT ACTUALLY GETS WORSE ARE YOU SITTING

because they didn’t have a good reason why Superman was angry they had Cyborg accidently fire at him! lolololol

The funny thing, it's so easy to fix that by

giving Superman some quick flashback scenes of Batman standing over him with the spear as soo as he wakes up...so we see what's on his mind.

That way, he doesn't remember the DD death, but he remembers Batman beating him and trying to kill him.

Seems like alot of effort....I dont understand Pokemon but im not over there bashing those bloody thins cause I dont care.

Internet works in mysterious ways I guess. I mainly came to SSF for collectibles discussion (I originally had no desire to discuss movies), and then when I came into the movies board and learned the general user consensus that every movie made after the 1980's sucks, I knew what I was in for. I think a lot of people tend to become resentful when a relatively mediocre movie gets highly praised as some sort of great game-changing masterpiece (think Avengers, Logan, or Jurassic World) and then they holler "it sucks" to look like some kind of internet cool kid band. I'm obviously not pointing fingers at anybody here because a lot of us are just joking around 80% of the time, and I joke around a lot too because... well, usually it's fun.

I actually don't care for any of the DCEU stuff myself, but I'd never go out of my way to holler "DC sucks". I hang around this thread because the amount of nerd rage CBMs can bring out in people I find hilariously amusing. And like Ropen said, mainstream internet is far worse... I can barely tolerate using Facebook now.

End result: Angry for no goddamn reason!

The history story told in JL was exactly like the start of FOTR.

Even some of the same terminology were used.
