Are we talking about Superman being happy in this film and not a bore like the other two??

If so.. That is easy.. He is happy to be alive :)

Man quips and happy Superman go a long way.

Seeing a happy Superman is worth a disjointed movie? It’s also funny nobody seems to care about Batman anymore, he went from being the most popular superhero to playing third fiddle.

Nobody else is impressed with how this movie spectacularly ruined Batman? Besides the fact it’s horribly edited, filled with plot holes, drops almost every plot point and theme BvS presented, terrible villain and has some of the worst CGI I’ve seen in a summer blockbuster, all of that we can forget about because Superman is happy now?

Man, that IMDB site is embarrassing.

For years "best of" sites always had Gone with the Wind as #1 -- a movie I still cannot sit thru -- then Citizen Kane came into vogue, then Godfather topped many sites as the generation changed. There's still some rotation there.

I wonder what the Millennials will rank as their "Best Movie" in the history of cinema? Goodfellas has been creeping up. Maybe Shawshank, which I think is overrated. I hope not Titanic.

NOW we're talking! :duff

Even better! :duff

Wor doesn't think movies made before he was born should be #1 on any list.

Wor doesn't think movies that millenials grew up watching should be #1 on any list.

Wor thinks movies from his youth should be #1 on any list.

It's like, people of any age prefer the things that they grew up watching, no matter how good or bad they are.

This really made me think.

I mentioned this a couple of days ago. They completely ruined Batman. Between Lego Batman and Justice League, Warner bros have successfully made Batman a joke again. Bravo.

Surprised they didn’t go with the explanation that because Doomsday woke up angry with his resurrection pool marriage to Zod means Superman would also have the same experience.

Yeah that’s it, i’m all good.

Signed.

Unironically, best part of the movie.

Difabio they lifted the ban on you? I been gone too long :lol

Affleck went from being the second best Batman in my opinion to the worst of all time. That’s impressive.

In this movie, I agree with you so I’m friend :lol

I’m no fan of MOS or BvS but tone was not the problem with those movies. Either was Cavill’s rendition of Superman, it was stupid scenes like the tornado, or Lois and Superman making out on ground zero :lol

People should be pissed that WB gave them their Ideal Superman, it was unearned and felt out of place. It hurt the movie even more because of how jarring it was.

Most of my favorites came after I was born, like all of you.

Exactly. That was the point of my post.

The "greatest" generation had Gone with the Wind. Boomers had Lawrence of Arabia. Xers had Godfather. Curious what's the Top Movie for the next.

Not all of us go into a movie just looking to pick it apart. I keep hearing about this crappy CGI and yet I thought the movie looked great. Maybes that's because I don't try to look for bad things in it?

How much more money will the silly and inconsequential Thor 3 make over JL...?

“[Superman] is the freaking […] biggest superhero on the planet. He’s the father of every superhero. [Deborah and I] were just talking about this – I’m like, really? Thor? Thor has a movie? [Laughter.] Really? I mean, come on. And there’s no Superman movie? This is, like, the world’s out of balance. It’s like, we’ve lost our minds here, people, come on.”
