Miller just told WB to F off lol

Now the question is does Miller own the Mad Max license or WB?

I think WB does which if that’s the case there goes anymore Miller Max movies.

I've gotten the impression over the past decade of following the FR dramas that it's Miller's baby. I'm sure he's the kinda guy, like Lucas, who would've retained the rights from the outset. He was talking about doing a Furiosa flick next but that seems to have fallen by the wayside for some reason.

I just don't get their licensing choices. I mean, Funkos but no Hot Toys or diecast vehicles!?

Well the MM franchise didn’t fall off just for “some reason”

No mystery at all really, Fury Road didn’t even break even!

In his current lawsuit against WB he used language that said irreparable harm has been caused by WB by their actions.

They didn’t pay his bonus because he went over budget on FR.

He’s saying only reason he went over budget was because WB forced him to do reshoots.

He said never again with WB under current leadership, ouch.

Him, Affleck and Zack must have lots to talk about lol

Watch Miller jump to Disney now as revenge. :yess:

This is ****ing great!

Funny, I was under the impression FR performed above expectations. Maybe it was expected to make an even bigger loss!

You need to stop listening to FR mega fan Wor-Gar because the movie bombed lol

A post-apocalyptic movie that gets 10 oscar noms and crushes a pregger chick with a monster truck can never be considered a failure. :)

Dodged a DC bullet. Now to appear in 2x Marvel blockbusters lol

Why did he dodge a dc bullet? Most of the DC movies made money with only JL doing poorly in the box office. WB have seen the mistakes and have reacted well with the hiring of quality directors.

Bvs underperformed, JL is the lowest earner in that franchise of 5(!) movies, batman character butchered in JL. A complete 180 of the badass character we got in bvs. Mixed reception in that universe. Hell I love batfleck but the guy doesn’t seem to thrilled. And hiring quality directors doesnt mean squat. We will only know for sure after we see these movies.

As for Brolin. The guy is gonna be in the biggest comic book movie of all time in IW. Already smashing records before the movie is even out.
Then deadpool. Coming off a universally loved movie which was a box office smash hit.

In short. The dceu is a disjointed mess with no sense of direction (at the moment) and is ridiculed in the media ever since bvs.

Thats what i mean by dodging a bullet

Whats funny is that Broling would have actually made a much more amazing batman than affeck.
and he wouldnt look bloated and he wouldn't wanna quit, I dont think brolin would wanna get rid of the project like affleck did.

I always thought Brolin would've made a perfect TDKR Batman in a direct live action adaptation directed by Robert Rodriguez a la Sin City, the first one.
