i would def entertain Brad Bird as director, Ghost Protocol was really cool!!!

But im rooting for the Wachowskis, Im a huge fan of the matrix trilogy, AND cloud atlas looks to be one of those biblical emotional epics. I can see them taking on the project.

But again to be honest, i feel like this project is gonna be rushed, and many dont wanna take it on. I feel like Warners doesnt have a plan...just a few scrips they have collected over the years of possible JLA movies that have flopped AND some ideas. MOS is coming out soon but for the longest time that was considered a solo project in its own universe, now its supposed to be the start of this DC cinematic Universe?

My worry is all throughout filming Snyder and the Man of steel team thought they were working on there own thing, now in post production there getting word this is gonna be the lead up movie..IDK!

Never understood the love for the Incredibles. It was OK at best.
Yep.

David Fincher would be great, but "Skyfall" director Sam Mendes would be good. The man even said Skyfall was influenced by Nolan's film... particularly TDK. Would love a Nolan-esque take on the JL. Even if it is only in the cinematography

Brad Bird, seriously...just watch Ghost Protocol. You wouldn't think the Incredibles director could do that, but it was awesome.

Mathew Vaughan did a solid job on Xmen First Class. Whether he would want to do it is another matter.

Brad Bird hasn't shown interest in returning to the superhero franchise he created, so I don't think he'd be interested in tackling somebody else's AND doing it in this timeframe AND going up against Disney.

I'd rather have Brad Bird direct something in Phase 3, Perhaps even Avengers 3 if Weadon moves on. Bird's style in The Incredibles is a good match for what Weadon and Favreau have done.

Dear God no....

If the JLA movie is in anyway 'Nolan-esque' it'll be awful. Nolan works for Batman (2 out of 3 films anyway), but the more fantastical Justice League needs to be more comic book-esque and fun.

Its bad enough we had a crying, *****y, whiny non-Batman. If the entire JL was like that.... :(

Don't knock it till you see"Man of Steel". Sure it is a Snyder film, but Nolan was part of the initial development and story. I am not saying the whole film needs to feel like a Nolan film, but if superman can handle some Nolan touches then so could the JL. What I meant was more of the complexity, tone, and cinematography. I was never asking for a Batman trilogy clone. That is why I recommended Sam Mendes or David Fincher. Director's who add depth to their story, as well as making the film look good.
