Quality of the display, before quantity of the statues on display!

Posting by Igo at SF regarding future JLA statues:

Future JLA members will come down a bit in size (skyline, not scale) trying to work with a "tier" affect. Secondary JLA will come down slightly, and 3rd tier a bit more-so. but we're being more cautious with the heights on some of these in the future

Here is a rough size comparison of the trinity.



Bases look big, will see the bases gradually come down in sizes for rest of JL members after WW.

Let the "tier" affect begin!

I'm going to give it a shot. My plan is to build a built-in display cabinet on the wall above my TV in my home theatre room (I have no idea what that will cost) and have the entire JLA line-up spread across it.

Shouldn't be a problem to fit all 7 in there...or 6.5 according to some

Sounds like an interesting display. I took a trip to IKEA the other day and opted to have a carpenter make something for me instead. The main reason being the best use of space available.

I think statues to left and right of TV would look nice. How do you feel if also place 1 row of statue above the tv, say display 3 Pf statues, while left and right of TV is 1 LSF each.? Would you say the top of TV will be too crowded and looks out of place?

Yeah, it's either one or the other unless the room is big enough. The one thing that always stands out when I see pics with that scenario is that the TV always looks small. It's sort of like, you have hundreds in collectibles....get a better and bigger TV!!!

Honestly, I don't think many of us are going to be able to display all of the Big 7 in a row like that. For me, I'll be looking to have the Trinity together on top of my display cabinet. After that, the rest of the Big 7 will be paired together on 2 separate shelves below them. I'm looking to pair Flash and GL directly below on one shelf to the right of Trinity and Aquaman and J'onn on the other shelf (directly below the Trinity)to the right. I'm hoping they look pretty good like that. Given my space restriction, I have to make it work that way.

That layout sounds good. I've just updated my pic and added base to Flash and Aquaman. Doubt SS will use there first rough draft of Flash and Aquaman, I expect to see a different concept when they show us.

Row 1: Bats, Supes, WW

Row 2: Flash, GL, Aquaman, Manhunter

GL and Aquaman directly below the separation gap of Bats/Supes and Supes/WW

Normally I would agree for Flash to hang next to GL but since we are dealing with 2 rows this is how I would do it with a little bit of space to showcase the Batman base.
