Those size chart pics are wrong for Sinestro. The 34.5" height is to the top of the construct. The website says he is 25.5" without the construct. GL and Sinestro will look great together.

Oh, ok. I didn't read / know about that. I was going by the scale to his left, as in, it shows his left hand at 34".

Also keep in mind that Sinestro is 6'7" tall in the comics...he is supposed to tower over Hal...part of what makes him so imposing.

I never intended to get him but got a VERY nice price for him which I couldn't refuse but I dont have deep enough pockets for a JLA display - the trinity was always my plan and I'll stick to that, flip GL once SInestro ships and he's bound to get a little bump $$$. I'm not in a hurry to get rid of him, I could sell him for his RRP and make good money on the transaction.

Now you'll have to get the WW LSB in order to fully complete your trinity. It never ends does it?

My guess is that it was decided early on that they wanted to use the fist construct, and the obvious way to do that is to have him in the midst of throwing a punch.

Aqua is the member I'd like to see next. There's just so much more pose options with him. With his trident they could make an awesome companion to the WW PF.

I hope that is not the pose SS goes with for Flash. Him pulling up his glove looks like he's about to give a ******* exam. Of course it would be done in a flash.

Agreed...for a character whose sole power is based on SPEED, they need to come up with an action pose for him.

I agree that Joker PF seems like a good measure of height for any upcoming PF in the DC line. He should be about the average.

People that buy the current GL PF because there won't be another one coming soon are going about it the wrong way. That's letting Sideshow dictate what you buy instead of buying what immediately catches your eye from the get go. Even worse, letting the forum tell you that the current GL PF is not that small and it fits with the current DC PF Trinity just fine when pics say otherwise.

I expect another GL PF in about 7 years give or take. If I am wrong so be it. I am sure there will be plenty of other things to purchase. There is also the DC Direct piece which I see as a better alternative to the current PF.

I believe collectors are smart enough to make their own decisions. No one should buy a statue they are not happy with. I also believe that collectors should not succumb to the hype or hate that happens on any board. I OWN the GL PF and I am telling you that it is not that small. It is not far off from 1/4 scale. I have measured him and that is a fact. Now, that doesn't mean he will look good next to pieces that are supposed to be 1/4 scale but instead are slightly larger. I will be displaying my GL PF with my JLA lineup regardless of how much others insist he won't look good with the Trinity. I just love the statue. As for the DCD GL PF, it doesn't look any better next to the Bats PF then SSC's. Take a look at the Bats PF thread. He's also small next to Bats. The only major difference seems to be that the DCD piece has some more girth to the statue. I don't think that makes him look better. In fact, I have always seen Hal to be rather athletic and lean looking. They both look small next to Batman because Batman is larger than 1/4 scale. The bottom line is that SSC will always have inconsistencies with their scale. If you want to finish any SSC lineup, that is an issue every collector will have to deal with. Igo himself said the next tier of JLA members will be smaller than the Trinity PFs. Somewhere down the line the GL PF will fit in better with the upcoming JLA members. I know this because SSC has always had inconsistencies of scale in all of their lines. So, I will lineup GL next to characters that he fits in best with. Besides, how many peeps have the shelf space to line up all of the JLA members in a row. Almost all of us will have the members on different shelves and apart from one another. In the end, collectors should buy what they like and not be swayed buy hype or hate.

I hope that another GL PF does get released for all the peeps that didn't like the original PF. When that will happen, only SSC knows for sure. In the meantime, I'll continue to display the awesome GL PF that SSC released. It's my cup of tea.

It's not like the GL statue is bad, it's a great detailed piece. People are just pointing out that it doesn't fit in with the trinity, scale and costume. It's an expensive piece to find out if it does, so pictures is what some are going on.

I still might get this for my GL display, but I don't think il be displaying him near the Trinity.

I will be completing the Trinity. I just got the Batman EX this weekend and Superman's coming next month (just let me pretend it will come on time). I'll be putting a deposit on WW on Thursday.

I have to say, I likely wouldn't get the rest of the League, not because it wouldn't be cool, but because I'm already trying to figure where I'm going to put the Trinity. 7 PF's is just way more space than I have.

I'll likely pick-up the Christopher Reeve PF, but I have no idea where that one will go either.

Instead of completing the original 7, I'd much rather see a Robin PF (either the classic short pants **** Grayson costume or the Tim Drake costume that Neal Adams designed). I'd buy a Robin to put next to Batman in a heartbeat.

Many people rip on the GL PF any chance they get. He's like 0.5" too short and people feel the need to call it a pile of garbage for that reason alone...over and over and over again. We get it...it's slightly under 1/4 scale, everyone knows that by now. Will he look great with the Trinity? Maybe not...depends on your tastes. Would another GL PF be awesome? Of course, he's one of my favorite characters! Does the existing one suck because it's slightly undersized? Hell NO!

SS is still continuing with the Batman line, Catwoman has had the most votes on the other forum for the next Batman character. No need to block JL members, plenty of room for everyone here. It's not going to be JL member after JL member coming out. SS is expanding on the DC universe, villains and all.

I think Besta is what most collectors have, but they just managed to fit Bats in it.

Yeah, I'm looking at picking up a Besta. I tried to fit Batman PF into a Detolf on the bottom and it just wouldn't fit. Right now it's standing on my wireless printer stand. Luckily I have an Ikea close by.

Not drinking Haterade but also not drinking the GL PF Kool-Aid. It's a nice GL PF piece, but I just don't agree that it is the alpha and omega of GL statues. Pretty green night light and all.

This is an AWESOME PF. Fantastic pics! I don't really mind peeps saying they don't like the piece. It's a fact of life that not everyone will like the same things. However, peeps coming on here calling it a Com and bashing it endlessly does get a little tedious. If the peeps that don't like the piece are lucky, another PF will be released. There really is no need to tear down this PF or say that the peeps that like it aren't being honest with themselves or other members here. That's just a bunch of bunk.
