Just started Season 1 on Netflix, onto ep 5 and I'm really liking this. I've always liked Olyphant and yet somehow it took seeing an interview with him the other day to get me to give this show a go.

Great one this week. Maybe the best of the season so far. First encounter b/w Boyd and Raylan. The Hill People were great. Return of the FBI guy, the flasher, and Patton Oswalt. Hillside conversation between the ex-sniper and the ex-MP would've been worth seeing more of.

Walter Goggins is fantastic!! Between this, his cameo in Sons of Anarchy and him popping up in Django and Lincoln, he's doing well. Might watch The Shield now just for him. Missed out on that one while it was airing.

I've been wanting to try both of those. I don't get to watch as much as I'd like. Honestly, I still need to see quite a bit of Justified. I've seen all of this season -- but I don't think I've seen all of any of the first three. Missed most of 2. Last half of 1. First half of 3.

Still on my list -- Deadwood, The Sheild, The Wire, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, Jericho, Prison Break, and the Sopranos. I own some of those already ... just haven't watched them yet.

I know, there's SO many to watch! I watched a season and half of Deadwood, 3.5 seasons of The Wire but got too busy and dropped them both. Just haven't been in the mood to pick up where I left off. I've been watching GoT as it airs. I couldn't get into Boardwalk or Dexter at all. Sons I'm up to date on. Jericho...nah. Prison Break I want to watch (especially the first season, as I heard it got a little..stretched out after that), but knowing how The Soprano's ends I'm not sure I'd be willing to invest in it.

Yesterday's was pretty good. Not as good as the prior ... but solid.

Anybody have any idea what Raylan said to Sheriff what-his-name in the car? They both laughed at something. I couldn't understand what they said. Even rewound and watched twice ... still got nothin'.

Raylan had asked him if he ever married the girl and the sheriff told him no but he take flowers to that boy's grave every week.

This weeks was actually stronger than it should've been, considering it was a diversion from the real plot. The Raylan-moonlighting-as-a-bounty-hunter side-story was actually really entertaining from start to finish.

This whole season has apparently taken place over a week. I was thinking it was at least a few. Seems like a really short timetable for so much to happen.

Jackie Nevada. Pretty thing. Good name. Interesting character. Always good to see something lifted directly from Elmore Leonard like that. Hope she stays around.

The Ellie May storyline is going too slow too long.

Best episode this season, and about time it picked up, it was getting a bit slow and disjointed.
