Margo Martindale, who played Mags Bennett was also nominated for best supporting actress. She was brilliant in that role - I hope she wins.

Every time I see this thread up top, I always think it has something to do with Justin Bieber.

That is all.

I assumed he mis-typed and meant 'the guy who plays Boyd' . . . cuz Tim Olyphant IS the guy who plays Raylan.

I thought he was joking, but it could be either. Batty is kind of old, so he may have just been confused.

well after blazing thru all of season 2 this past weekend i was looking forward to the season 3 opener. different vibe already but maybe maybe that's not such a bad thing.............hope boyd doesn't stay too long where he's at because this show is at it's best when boyd & raylen are in the same scene.

I really enjoyed the first episode. Boyd wanting to go to jail so he could get at Dickie...I'm looking forward to seeing what he does.

Now that the mafia are in town - it's going to be a whole new level of crazy. You know Raylan and Boyd are going to team up to drive out this new element. Neither want the mob setting up shop.

This show is so well written and acted, I have full confidence that it won't disappoint.

Yep, loved the first episode. And Quinn from Dexter and Neil McDonough - great new cast. Raylin's solution to the contest was so smart and simple - perfect!

He TOTALLY dialed back his demeanor, I was very surprised. He's so loud and abrasive on Dexter, and even his voice on Justified is so low and mellow. . . he's totally changed characters.

ACTING!!!

Side note, I had completely forgotten what happened in the finale. I thought the season ended on Raylan and Ma Bennet at the table with her suicide. Didn't even remember Raylan got shot.

Saw the premiere last night. First episode I've ever watched, actually. Badass show. Kinda wish they hadn't killed off the Ice Pick guy ... he was pretty slick.

Fletcher (quinn) being an ice pick killer vs. dexter's ice truck killer.............coincidence?............... :dunno

:lol

and i dont think fletcher is dead...............looks like he shot him in the shoulder.

Actually, I watched the end of the episode again last night, and I think you're right. I don't think he's dead.

My wife and I are going to watch Seasons 1 and 2 over the next week or so.

Hot Toys should do a Raylan Givens.

I really enjoyed the season opener. I think it's great that they're taking it in a different direction.

I honestly thought Raylan was going to grab the gun before the count down ended. I didn't expect him to do what he did. It was perfect.

:lecture :rock This is probably my favorite show that is currently going right now. Spartacus comes back next week so I finally have something good to watch throughout the week.

Raylin's solution to the contest was so smart and simple - perfect!
Yeah I laughed when he did that. I knew Raylin was going to pull some trickery to dodge the pick.

Didn't quite catch the last bit, Art killed Powe, right?? The idea being no one can be bothered to investigate??

Will be an interesting plot-line to see pay-off, considering the 'justified' nature of things.
