Didn't quite catch the last bit, Art killed Powe, right?? The idea being no one can be bothered to investigate??

Will be an interesting plot-line to see pay-off, considering the 'justified' nature of things.

I'm pretty sure Poe was still alive when Raylan showed up. Besides, I don't see Art as the type of lawman to do something like that.

Btw...Carla Gugino. :drool

Yeah, I re-watched it when I got home this evening, he was rocking back and forth in his chair. Still alive.

I just thought that because earlier in the ep, they set up that Art and the marshall were old buddies, and then at the end, Art was obviously hiding the fact that he was upset that his friend was killed by a dirty POS scumbag drug dealer. . . ma-a-a-a-ybe he shot the guy in the face. Oh well, watev.

I enjoyed last night's episodes. Looks like Boyd may have a heck of a time getting that money. That new character, Ellstin, looks like one you wouldn't want to mess with. Anyone else notice after he gave that one guy the option to makes things square or be given one last chance, that the other guy standing there had scars all over his hands? He was smart and made things square. I think the odds of not disppointing Ellstin are slim and none and that younger guy just dug his grave.

I'll try not to read this thread too much to avoid spoilers since I haven't watched any yet, but does Timothy Olyphant kick as much ass in this show as he did in Deadwood? :D

He kicks ass. I loved Deadwood - but I may love Justified a tiny bit more.

Sweet, thanks! :clap I'll definitely put it at the top of my must watch TV shows list :D

You will be glad you did. One of my favorite shows - great writing, acting...a very interesting bunch of characters. If you are an Olyphant fan, you can't miss this. Some of his best acting and his scenes with the character Boyd have such great dialogue - the way those two bounce off each other - it's damn good tv.

I love Olyphant and I loved Deadwood so I'll pick these up immediately :D:yess:

Thanks Jen!

I'm not following you. Why would it be smart to make things square and have your hand mangled like that? I want one last chance. :lol

Because if you screw up again - which one probably would - if you are square, you'll get another chance to make things square again or get your one free pass. If you take the free pass and screw up, you're dead...he'll put you down like a bad dog.

I think I'll take my chances now and not screw up again.

Why get punished now for something that may not happen later. Sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy if you make things square now.

I have a feeling in that line of work one is going to die eventually anyway.

Very true. But you are not getting punished for what may or may not happen later. You are getting punished for the screw up you already did and making things even. That guy just looked young and scared silly. He's going to screw up again - especially since Boyd is going after the money that Ellstin has...and you know Raylan is going to get involved. Ellstin just does not seem like a character you would ever want to be indebted to.

Oh, and the other thing I just found out

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_Sisco

I vaguely remember this TV show, but I thought it was really cool to tie all of this together.

Very cool. Also common for Elmore Leonard, just like in Jackie Brown based on Leonard's Rum Punch Ray Nicholette was played by Michael Keaton who also played the same character in Out of Sight which was based on another of Leonards books.

Well this season is turning out to be really great. There's some seriously good story writing going on. And I like how Raylan is a little more intense than he was the past two seasons.

"Me and dead owls don't give a hoot" made me :lol

Dangit! For some damn reason I was thinking this was on tonight not last night. Waaaaaaaa!! And it's not on On Demand yet.

Really liking Season 3 thus far. The show is a great show and when they add Carla Gugino to the mix it's just icing on the cake. I will watch that woman in anything.
