Other than the cape.....This figure looks pretty cool! Ordered one vie HLJ. Reminds me of a young Episode III Anakin/Vader seen at the end of the film. Looking forward to the Stromtroopers. The promotional images of this figure is a bit deceiving...they actually make the figure look more anime based where the final product shots shy away from that. I hope this happens with the Stormies.

It's the anime poses they love so much.....
The sculpts are based on the old kaiyodo 1/6 model kits they made back in 95-97. The kits were vinyl and at the time were the best sculpts on the market, some folks used the vader to make. Custom 1/6 figures....

Can the plastic cape be taken off? I may just create a custom cloth cape if that is the case.

It is interesting that the helmet looks more like the one from a new hope for you but the rest of the costume is clearly from Empire strikes back.

Looks like a new hope cuz of the way it hangs over the face, plus the widows peak is present like it was on the kaiyodo 1/6 kit

The sides of the cape can detach but not the middle portion....

This is the most fun I've ever had with a Darth Vader figure-- and I have them all --almost (except for vader vs Luke diorama, any bronze statues, yoshi-toku figure, and samurai taisho era vader)
