Completely agree ^ Either option is fine to me.
The thing is... Kato has been doing this since I can remember, and it's pretty widely known that his work comes out better than Hot Toys. If he's looking at what we've already got together and thinking 'hmm, this might be too bulky with a full sportcoat, I should probably do a sleeveless version to make this work', I'd be inclined to trust and believe those thoughts.

Yes, the HT version could pull it off with a full jacket but on the other hand, the HT version doesn't look as close to movie accurate as possible from the outside does it? - Which is why we were having this made to begin with To better it!
Worst case, just cut the cuffs off your Dyed DX jackets and slip them over the wrists. Maybe Kato can even make some little armband-sized pieces to slip in there out of the same material? Easy fix in any case.

Could the little bands be attached to the overcoat when that is in the making

No, I have been thinking for quite sometime how immense it is going to be and how excited we all shall be when we clasp our eyes on it for the very first time

Is it too early to talk about the inner lining of the coat?

In some screen stills it looks many different colours

I prefer that salmon orange

Yeah that burnt orange is the one for me

In the film stills it is a little more red, but I'd prefer the burnt orange
