WHOA! WHOA! When did this become an option with the sleeveless blazer?? That's a horrible idea!! All I'm gonna say is if Hot Toys can pull it off, I think kato can do a MUCH better job.

This is what I feel. Yes you may save $70 but I think it will compromise the rest of the epic project.

I will go with whatever it was just when Kato said it will look better sleeveless I was on board being that the sleeves will never be seen

Yes and if it does indeed look quite visibly better then I think I will be on board too.

So I think the best thing is for Kato to show us in pictures how it will look with and without sleeves, so we can make a decision. Because I honestly think even with the sleeves, with the quality of tailoring Kato has, it will look incredible.

Like someone said earlier, maybe kato can give us the option. Hot Toys' DX sleeves really dont look that bad to me. And I was thinking also. I have a spare grenade rig set that I ripped out of my DX coat. What if I wanna do a grenade rig set up with my kato coat?? It's gonna show the sleeveless blazer???

Kato said that he can't afford to do 2 versions due to the development cost.

So it's best in my view if he can do a quick prototype of each version, and then once the overcoat is done, show us pictures of how each version sits, so we can make our final decision.

My strong preference would be with full sleeves. We want this to be the best 1/6 scale outfit ever made, and it's well on its way towards that - but if it has a sleeveless jacket in there, that's just going to be a huge mark against it.

My strong preference would be with full sleeves. We want this to be the best 1/6 scale outfit ever made, and it's well on its way towards that - but if it has a sleeveless jacket in there, that's just going to be a huge mark against it.

I'll go with whatever Kato thinks will look best. He know his craft. So far we've trusted him and look at the results. (And if it saves me money, even better)

I would love to see Kato do Clockwork Orange cloths.
Has anyone ever talked to him about doing this?
