Actually, the Pecard's leather dressing wasn't getting the jacket any darker than what you saw in my first pics...so I had to take it a step further. I ended up using a flat black acrylic paint designed especially for leather. I diluted it to a very thin consistency, then applied wash after wash until I got the color I wanted. Not for the faint of heart!

Well it came out great. Definitely not for you faint of heart but I've done some risky things before in this hobby so I may give it a shot. I think it will depend mainly on how I feel about the jacket once in hand. Either way great job and I'm glad you got it to the color you wanted.

So I applied some Pecards to Kato's jacket. I'm very impressed with the results. Now I need to add Kato's shirt and pants to the equation. I'd try out kailbur's shrunken head as well but I'm quite happy with the one that I got from cavalcade a few years ago and I can't paint worth crap
