Dear all

I hv received the complain from one people who had received the new leather jacket, complaining the color is not as dark as the picture in his computer.

I would like to clarify very very clearly that all the jacket are under the same weathering procedure and they are all the same in color (there will be only a minor different as it is weathered by hand)

The picture of Shortround's Indy jacket are looking much darker probably because the lighting, camera setting and the deviation of the yr screen color ! His jacket color is exactly the same darkness as yrs !!!

I understand that everyone has different taste/preference in color, but I am unable to fullfil all of you as I never know yr real preference unless we are face to face in front of the jacket.

If anyone really feel unacceptable for the color after getting my jacket, pls just send it back to me ( in original condition without any modification or damages) , I will refund you ! No hard feeling!

ALL computer monitors are different!!!!!!!!!!
You will NEVER see the same as someone else unless you have the exact same monitor with the exact same colour settings.

You cannot blame Kato for what you have your monitor setting on!!!!

I know, who doesn't know that haha, sounds like a bad case of buyers remorse to me. These Jackets look amazing despite any variation of brown.

This jacket is made of real leather and I am not using the dye stuff for it, just like other leather shoes or leather jacket , The color may probably look more dull , stiff and lighter in color after some period!

Therefore you need to hv some conditioning after some period. Try to add some shoe cream(in no color), Lexol leather conditioner ( or even steal yr wife's /mother 's Olay hand cream XDDD)

This is always very very easy to make the leather darker and darker in color, but it is almost no turning back if you want it a bit lighter later


If you really want yr jacket look more black... this is the hints :

Use Saphir bee wax in dark brown color ( never use the black color or you bear yr own risk)

This is dark brown, not black !

Since this is not shoe polish, it won't stick to the leather deeply inside. Once you feel uncomfortable with it, you may wash and brush it away ( pls pay attention that I won't be responsible for any leather damage or deform after washing ) you bear yr own risk !

Actually, the reason mine is darker is because I applied leather lotion to it. Just want to make that clear.

FYI.... adding the Lexol , at the beginning it will looks terribly dark and even look black in color, while it will turning lighter when it is dry, as the color will probably turning to the original tone after some period. You need to apply it about every 2~3 months, depend the humidity of yr country.

Anyone who had got the jacket, may try to add the Lexol on it , it is safe and easy, I hv added the weathering effect on the leather base, you don't need to be fear that it will be messed up, just avoid to add the conditioner at all the edge and seams

New leather order list
1. I don't know if the new leather is enough for making all order in the list, so you must check this thread everyday for payment notice.

2. I will annouce in this thread and ask the people in the list ( in sequence ) for payment. There will be 10 days for you to prepare the full payment for your order , if you are unable to pay on time, the people in the list will take yr place ( in sequence )

3. Therefore, in case you miss the announcement and fail to pay for the jacket, there is a chance that you may probably cannot get the jacket finally ( due to the limited supply of leather.

4. People at the bottom of the list, pls don't pay me for the purpose of getting the jacket earlier than the people at the top of the list. I will just refund to you immediately ( you will hv some loss due to the paypal handling charges , if any)

For Shorty and Marf: do you mind letting us know what the leather treatment you used is? I get that it is Pecards, but is there any specific type we should look for? I really love the look of your jackets.
