I purchased the Exlusive Web double pack...what is the exclusive about?

I see it states "
This release ONLY:The luxury Dracula White Coffin
Luxury Double Package"

Is it just for the LUXURY double package and the Coffin you can buy seperately?

The only difference between this big box luxury exclusive edition, and the individual exclusive luxury editions (that you can buy separately), is that its all combined in a single package with the coffin.

I actually prefer the individual packaging. On their social media page, you can see the big box vs. single figure box. Here it is.

Double pack behind the Lee single off to the right. The coffin can be purchased separately, boxed individually. The coffin comes in its own glossed heavy box titled "Vampire's Coffin"

Interestingly enough, they use pictures of the actual products (as opposed to the great drawn artwork) on the regular and deluxe editions. The regular and deluxe editions feature different pictures to differentiate.

My saga with these has been interesting. I was over the moon at the sculpts when I pre ordered them. I got annoyed at the amount of time it took for them to finally be released. I had the "everything packed together" set ordered. As the economy kept growing worse, and some discontentment with KP, I cancelled my order.

After seeing all the online videos and pictures, I realize there were more things I liked about them than I thought. So I found a way to acquire a set of exclusives, packed individually. Which should be here today.

My thoughts on these, based on what I have seen online, without having my set yet:

The pros:
1. The head sculpts are amazing. The exclusives are the way to go; in order to get the stoic, 'vanilla' head portraits of both characters. Which happen to be my personal favorites here.
2. Exclusive packaging has some stellar art work. Individual exclusive packaging will help (in my case) with storage.
3. The tailoring is quite nice, especially with regards to Van Helsing's Chesterfield coat. It's superb. My only quibbles are with some slight tailoring issues. Listed below in the "cons".
4. KP appears to have improved upon their Lugosi release: the boxes appear more collector friendly this time out (Bela's box flap is super thin, and bent in several places when I removed him). I am hoping the wrist pegs are sturdier, and not as brittle as Bela's. I like the fact they went with wrist inserting method this time around to hide joints.
5. Bottom line, this set is probably going to be highly sought after amongst fans of the film.

The cons:

Inaccurate fashion faux pas:

1. Trousers of the era for these fellas were without belts. No need for belt loops here, or on Bela. Yet all three have them. No one in this film is wearing belts, because the attention to details of costuming were followed pretty closely here and in Curse of Frankenstein. If you're going to make the error of adding belt loops to period specific clothing, thread a cheap belt through there for crying out loud. Belt loops with no belt is...well, just plain silly.

2. Dracula's neckwear. Ole Drac wasn't sporting a skinny tie in the film. Or any of the films in the series. A star Ace or Product Enterprises crevat would have been more accurate.

That's it for the cons: 2 minor fashion quibbles. Fortunately for me, I have an extra crevat. Guess I better go buy some belts,lol.

EDIT: if I am going to include all "quibbles" with regards to inaccuracy: That white coffin should be filled in with some sculpted, chunky dirt,lol.

Seems spot on observations..

I actually was on the fence. Really the price tag...I THINK I went for the exclusive because it was cheaper than buying everything separate.

The Coffin was essentially free, compared to buying the two figures then the coffin? Cannot remember.

But 3 heads...that all I want from ALL my 6th scale figs. I love three zeros Rambo, but how could you NOT include an angry head?

KP did everything I wish companies would do and the 300 dollar price seems fine for what they offered.

Well, they arrived today. SUPERB. HEAD. SCULPTS. My minor quibbles are just that. Astounding. Although I am totally devoid of space for this stuff these days, Wolfman will be a must. As would Vincent Price.

I'm now tempted to pick up a REDMAN TOYS Oldman "Old-man" Dracula version, as i don't see anyone else making one.

Trying to find the exclusive version with three head sculpts of the christopher Lee Dracula does anyone know where they are still available?

They're most likely only going to be found on the secondary market at this point. They are sold out from KP.


The exclusives may prove harder to acquire in the future. Consider this;

1. The art card inside the box states the entire production run (all versions; standard, deluxe, exclusive) total 800 sets.

2. Of the 800 total sets production run,

a. 280 numbered pieces are the double pack exclusive
b. 80 numbered individually packaged exclusive versions


So there are only 360 chances total to get exclusives.

The other 440 sets consist of the standard (single head) and deluxe (double heads).

You could try getting on the waitlist at Sideshow for the exclusive double pack, and maybe get lucky, or watch the classifieds here. Barring that, maybe ebay?

I have the sideshow wolfman...only reason I kept it was because wanted the clothing and base to use with Kaustic heads

Can you remind me what was in the 80 pack again? - struggling to remember what I've ordered from KP

The limited to 80 are for people who may not have wanted everything packaged together, or wanted different buying options, with all portraits included.

80 Exclusive Lees, 80 Exclusive Cushings, and the coffin packaged separately with an unknown production run (but I am guessing it's less than 500 individually packaged coffins).

Each 80 numbered exclusive contains a single exclusive figure, with all 3 heads, and different box art than the deluxe or standard. It matches the two pack, only figures and coffin are independently packed. I have included pics just in case I am not properly explaining myself. Pics worth a thousand words and all that.

I'm just glad that I had a change of heart and re-secured a set after cancelling. To be perfectly frank, I prefer these single packed, as they are easier to store, and being limited to 80 individual versions seems a perk too. The bonus exclusive tee shirts are a nice kicker too.
