Ok, I just watched that video... and uh, yeah... saber clip... wohoo...
I'm down with this figure. I love the PT Jedi and I'll replace my custom painted Hasblo version... but man, pretty thin when you come to expect the accesories we have gotten of late...
Saber clip... yeah...

SSC spreads the cost out for these figs among several in a line...similar to the way Hasbro does per set of figures. Some figs get more and others get less. You get lots of extras with one figure...say Luke and SSC makes let's say a 5% profit. Then you get a figure or figures like Aayla and Ki and you get almost nothing but SSC's profit margin is like 10%. If their profit and loss goal is 15%, they make out and meet goal. We get the figures we want and they get the profit...everyone wins...except Ki and Aayla...cause they don't get nothing.

I love how in the backstage pass Klauder gives us such helpful and interesting info such as:

1) He comes with a lit AND unlit saber!!!!!
2) A leather belt WITH saber clip!!!!
3) A heads up that he will go for PPO in a future newsletter!!!!!

I sure hope I don't miss it. :lol

You have to access it through the newsletter. I don't think it has been posted on the main page yet (prolly monday).

I found it on the frontpage on the right hand side of the screen. Just scroll down among the backstage passes until you see the one for Ki Adi Mundi.

The material used for the prototype looks nice and accurate. Its clearly and distinctly not the material they use for Mace, and ANH Obi-Wan.

I have doubts it will remain that way. If it comes out right, I will order it from their instock.

This was by far the most sorry backstage pass video they've done to date.
Although I do think the head size looked much better in the video (not in the pictures they showed), I wonder if they've already done a shrink on that head? At least I hope so.

That was the lamest thing I've ever watched. Although the head did look better, but I doubt they shrink it. I don't think they could just "shrink" a sculpt, they'd probably just have to resculpt it altogether.

He doesn't come with much so honestly outside of them doing a video announcement there isn't much to say.
