Interestingly Dominik always intended this film to be known as Killing Them Softly. Apparently Cogan's Trade was just a place holder. Killing Them Softly was a line of dialogue and he didn't want Pitt to know. When someone says the title in a movie, they make a meal of it according to Dominik. Dominik kept this to himself until that scene was shot. So it wasn't a sign of the studio fretting but a creative choice by Dominik.

I don't get the thought process of studios when it comes to releasing these things. I mean, it's cool that you guys are getting it now and all, but it's just peculiar that a movie with "America" plastered all over it would get an international release before it hits the US.

i thought the last few mins, basically the last dialogue, was awesome. great ending to the movie.

void, i'd go and see if it you have nothing else you want to watch. but it's not something the cinema will enhance. if you haven't seen dredd yet, go see that instead
