Prop King Arts 1:1 Replicas

If you watch Budget Stark's vid on the scepter he talks about how they are licensed, just not in the US.. which is why you haven't really seen any western distributors yet. Don't know how much that has to do or not with bbts pulling the POs on them. I have a PO for the BD shield (wish I had also kept the classic one too now), but hopefully bbts will open them back up once they actually start shipping.

I doubt that BBTS will be selling any more than they already have. I put in an email to them
to see what is going on the the KA products and why they pulled them from the site.

Also figured I would check to see if they had any updated ETA on getting the ones that were PO'd.

Well, here is the update I got from BBTS:

Hello Brad,

Thank you for contacting us regarding the King Arts Captain America shields.
Unfortunately, I do not have a more exact arrival date at this time, however, I did ask
our Purchasing Department to contact King Arts to obtain more information on there
expected time of arrival and it does not appear that we have heard back from them yet.

As for the listing of merchandise by King Arts, we do have several items listed by them, which you can find here
Please note that we have recently removed the movie replicas from our website and will no longer
be offering them or the shields to our customers once preorders have been fulfilled.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for customers that were waiting for the shields
to arrive in stock before placing their order. For customers that already have a Captain America Shield
on preorder, please note that your preorder has been confirmed and we have every reason to believe
that all existing preorders will be filled.

Hey Dino, thanks for the update man. Damn, sucks for the people that wanted those props, like me. I'm interested in the scepter and waiting for more pictures of it but if I was ever to buy it, I was hoping it would be with BBTS. Not to mention, that King Arts will be doing more props in the future, so where are we supposed to get those items from now?

That's a good question. I was waiting to see how the arc reactor/box turned out before I purchased it so am in the same situation.

which version do you have on order with them? Maybe a switch in orders as I'm debating cancelling my eFX?

Great first look at the sceptre!! So glad I stuck with my pre orders for this, the classic and BD pedestal shields. Now we are getting more and more pics of these KA pieces the more excited im getting.

It does not inspire a lot of confidence if something is wrong with your KA prop or if it arrives damaged.

Loki's staff costs a fortune to ship due to the box size. It ships at a rate of 67kgs which is like $650 bucks to the U.S. from China.

I highly recommend you get confirmation that BBTS pre-orders are still valid. I have tried to get a response, but nothing.

Myself and a few others have gotten replies stating that they plan to honor all POs up till the point where they took them off.

Got the shields from Midtown, feel better about getting it from them than BBTS. Picked up the others all on Ebay.

I would not feel better about picking it up from Midtown Comics... especially at $200.00 more a shield than BBTS sold theirs for. Yikes!
