At least that is some good news. A review on this from anyone who gets one will hopefully be posted before BBTS gets theirs,
and I can pick one of the two from there!

OK, new pictures from their facebook and by a dude from the RPF. Looks like they finally settled in a finish for their shield which has started to ship in HK. Personally, between eFx and King Arts, I would go with King Arts. eFx is ok if you want something that is screen accurate but in the end it's only a stunt version. King Arts got close enough to what the shield looks like in the movie and it has an awesome finish that would make it look much better on display.

Final product from a customer that got his. The detail on the star is amazing, compared to the eFx one, where you can barely see the star grooves.

I think I am leaning towards canceling the EFX version and getting just this one.
I have the Classic Pedestal on pre-order, I like the richer colors of the KA one... and like DFanatic said...
the detail on the star looks way better.

On top of all that, the KA one will probably be the rarer of the two. Not too many US distributors
getting these from KA. I am just glad I got in with BBTS before they pulled the plug.

One question I have though... and I have seen it brought up before.

Is the King Arts product licensed or not? Someone mentioned they would not purchase this
instead of the EFX one because it is not a licensed product. I cannot imagine that any of the KA products
are not licensed... they would have to be, right?

They ARE licensed. They have the rights for it in Asia, that is the reason you don't see a lot (or ANY) distributors for it here in the western side. Whoever said they don't, have no idea what they are talking about. Lager Toys is the company that doesn't have the rights, but manufactures and sell stuff anyway (btw, their shield is also better than eFx).
