Spideys web shooters from either ASM would be cool.

We really do need a Magneto helmet. The Museum Replicas/Windlass studios version from X2 is so hard to find and expensive if you do. Amazing made a decent mini DOFP helmet replica with the exclusive Blu ray but it was just a mini.

Update on BBTS they have canceled future orders but are still getting shields for those who pre ordered.

Well that sucks, if the shield turns out well I was looking to maybe pickup one of the other 1:1 pieces

I've made versions of both Mag helmets and the web shooters. I think the molds have some life left in them. If you wanted them all painted up and finished it would not be really cheap but depending on the ordered amount wouldn't be crazy high. If anyone is really interested..

Every new picture of the shield looks different than the last, which is maddening.

While the King Arts replicas look nice, there is something about them that looks "cheap".
Not sure what it is... it is really bothering me, lol.

I still have both the KA Classic Pedestal and the EFX on preorder at BBTS, but I only want one shield...
and am no closer to deciding which one to actually purchase.

True, the promo pics of the EFX one look accurate, but the KA one has the metal factor to it.
I just don't want to shell out $1300.00 for both and have to go through the annoying process of returning one or the other.

Someone having one in-hand and saying something bad about it would be enough for me to pass and go with the other.

Only way to really compare is in hand. I think they look pretty equal so it's just about what you personally prefer.

Why do you prefer EFX more ?

Given the lack of concrete info from KA and every picture that pops up looking differently, the wise bet is the eFX version.

I understand people want the heft of a metal shield. What I see so far from KA looks good, but if I had to choose I would go with the tried and true eFX brand. Not to mention that the eFX version is an actual prop replica. The KA is a nice display shield. If money is a concern right now (these will arrive at the same time) you take the one with the pedigree and clear numbered edition.

I think is a tough decision either way but uncertainty tips the scales to eFX favor.
