like this very much but still swinging for the hot toys version for 2 reasons. 1. The price is only about $200 less then the 1/6th scale version by hot toys. 2. It doesn't include the MkXLIII figure unlike the hot toys version which includes the bust. When you factor in the cost of paying for the MkXLIII figure your looking at a similar price to the hot toys version and i think you get much more with the hot toys version added to its overall larger presence.

Scenarios will be different for some, depending what country you are in, & where you shop .... etc. Door to door for me, the KA is almost exactly half the price of the HT. I'm guessing it might be the higher shipping cost & import fee's, the HT HB would have. But still, I find calculating the total of actual money spent is important.

Does that include the 43?

Come on Motuxmen :lol You already know how I feel about the whole 2 vs 1 deal. The fairest comparison to me is KA vs HT, one on one.

But for you Motuxmen, if I added the XLIII (I'm going to use the price of the XLII, because the store I'm buying my KA from from doesn't seem to have the XLIII listed anymore), it would look like this (using current exchange rate & rounded up to the closest dollar):

HT $918US vs KA+XLIII (okay so it's really XLII but it's close enough) $649US.

I actually missed that special price for the HT so it might cost me $1051US (from another local place) to my door instead. I think buying direct from SSC is actually the expensive option for me, maybe clocking in at about $1259US to my door if my shipping & import fee estimate is correct. Ahhh, the woes of being an internationally based collector ..... :thud:

I know I know I know ..... :lol

I was really happy for those few seconds I thought the XLIII sculpt was included in the KA box :lol

I believe you are referring to those event exclusive version for a Taiwan show (I heard only 15pcs available), technically it is the head from the 42 battle damage set, and it is useless unless you have a body to put it on.

Oh, OK, thanks for the clarification. I had no idea what was up with that. :lol :duff It sounds like it's very exclusive though I don't understand how it's related to the HB.

Yes, this is also what I remembered what I have seen in a Hong Kong forum, they said it is a Taiwan show exclusive. :duff

No version has a bust. The exclusive version just has the BD 43 helmet. It's just a free item they threw in. And they choose it Becuase the big selling point and marketing on the HB is that you can put their full 43 inside. So the logic is that if you buy the 44 most will buy the 43..especially if you do the work to get an uber exclusive version of the 44. The design of the KA hulkbuster doesn't really allow for just a bust or head of the 43 to be used.
