I think this guy is a member here, & I think he's the one with some impressive pics of figures posted somewhere in here.

Good video. Good figure.

Still think the removable (and not included) 43 is not that great an idea. Prefer the built in versions. I understand why they felt the need to do it. Every other version has some gimmick as well. Had they included a 43...then maybe. What happens if the 43 sells out? Or you buy down the road and can't find one?

Then I guess I'd be stuck with the wonderful HT/CMC figures :lol

I haven't even watched the video I posted, because I'm busy trying to clean my computer, but while doing so, I found the image I was talking about earlier, that might make for a cool KA display, if possible.

Credit for that image I think goes to Liu Haifan.

Edit: Actually, if the XLIII sold out on me everywhere, it would kinda be sad because that's one of the features I like, but it's not like the HB on it's own is undisplayable. You'd simply be missing the open helmet look that the HT can do, & that's about it .....

i think its good that companys bring in different ideas, one with a bust, one with a mark 43 figure. which gives options for
customers to choose from. and the comicave one is going to have automatic chest armor opening mechanism for revealing
the mark 43 inside. they just make the hulkbuster so special, a legend, a landmark in action figure history. any serious collector
should consider getting them all and display them side by side. it would be awesome! :lol

One not so good idea is the KA Hulk holding the jackhammer arm ransom .....

:lol Maybe. Who knows though. They could be super cool & have it as a surprise inclusion with their figure. That would be brilliant. But probably not :lol

I'm actually pretty curious how HT will handle the whole jackhammer arm situation.

yeah with no Mk 43 in there it looks incomplete- too bad you have to buy another $160 figure, too if you can get it. Should have just had a torso built in that could be removed if you had the full Mk 43..
STILL it looks absoulutely amazing...

yes it does look amazing but with the price of the mk 43 added in your talking about a price close to what ht are selling the hulkbuster for with the mark 43 bust included. That and the size are whats preventing me from picking up this version versus ht's.

Diecast vs plastic
Full figure vs bust
Only difference is size, I'll go with the one with more display possibilitys

Diecast vs plastic-winner is plastic. Less wear on joints. Better detail look the same(DC is heavy. Whoopie) lol
Bust vs empty hole-winner is bust
BD parts vs no BD parts(-winner hot toys with BD parts)
Better articulation(hot toys based on prototype claims)
Not just taller but larger-hot toys
Chance to scratch paint on 43 and 44 just to achieve removal of 43...
Better paint app-hot toys based on prototype

It appears there are more then two differences.

Really??? Less wear on the joints, what are you five years old, are you going to be playing with the hulkbuster everyday lmao, As far as durability how do you think that plastic is more durable then diecast? Less chance for scratches that makes no sense if you scratch plastic and scratch diecast you will get the same outcome.... a scratch lol, Also I would rather have two figures for the price of one that I can display as together as in the movie or side by side, can you do that with the bust in the ht version, as I said before all you get is size.

Ps. Too much BD parts ( I'm assuming your referring to battle damage) looks like crap on a display piece in my opinion.

A 1/9 scale version of this KA product:

+ Jackhammer arm + BD parts + Tony Stark sculpt (yeah I know it's not movie accurate), would be cool. Actually, that should be their add on pack for their HB. They've done add on packs before (MkXLII & I think Ultron?), so it's not really a far out idea .....

I agree with motuxmen. The diecast has more weight, and over time, will wear out the joints faster. What he meant by less chance of scratches was that you won't risk scratching the paint by removing and inserting the Mark 43 on the King Arts version.

It's clear you don't think this thru...

Less wear on the joints from weight. Fool. Not playing with it. If the joints are to be the same, the lighter it is the less wear or potential for wear it will have the joints.

Also, your whole diecast vs plastic scratch thing. I didn't say it was because plastic. If you actual read and more important understand what I said...I said pulling the 43 in and out and placing in on the 44 has an infinitely higher chance of scratching the 44 then the way hot toys has it, which is the built in. Pretty simple. But let's look at your statement about diecast vs plastic scratch...your also wrong on that. Different material scratch and damage at different rates. Meaning one is easier to scratch then the other. And is also easier to see. The diecast is metal and is much easier to scratch. The paint actually bonds with the plastic. It doesnt with the metal. And if the plastic scratches it's still red (the plastic is cast in red) so the scratch is less apparent.

And then your "I'd rather have two for the price of one"...well dang. I can go to the dollar store and get 700 dollar store figures for the price of your two. So I win! Just Becuase it's more numbers doesn't make it equal. Price per inch or square inch is the only way to measure accurately different size items. Hot toys is better value. You get much more "material" which is what your two for one" is using. The hot toys figure is better value. Now I'm sure I'll need to explain this to you asxwell...since you seem to miss every nearly every point made...so I'll save myself the time and do it here that way you don't look so bad and can say "I knew that" for once...value as it applies here is what you get for what you spend. KA hulkbuster plus mk43 equals same cost (roughly) as Hot toys hulkbuster. The hot toys version has a mk43 built in, minus the legs. But it includes swap out parts including additional helmet options and BD parts to replicate scenes from the film (which is the stated purpose of both figures via there manufacturer) as well as being 40-60% larger in mass. Hence, better value.

And just to point something out..when you erroneously assumed my concerns had to do with "playing" with my figure you laughed...I find this insulting to everyone, including yourself. It's a toy. Your arguing about being able to play with two toys, and put them together and take them apart, and make them play together but try to make some idiotic joke Becuase you assumed I may pose my everyday..you see that your making fun of your self right?
