wohooo!!! finally got me tracking #. should be here in couple of days. :D

Hmmm, good for you Toe! I was just fixin' to say not to count on receiving a tracking e-mail to much... In EU, the tracking e-mail for Anakin (yes, we are slightly behind) arrived 5 days after the delivery of the figure for some of us. I wonder when Kit will arrive in EU. Will the first one to receive Kit in the EU please start a thread "Kit arrives in the EU".

Kit should be here any minute.

On Vehicle for Delivery :chew :chew :chew :chew :chew

Got mine yesterday. Called my wife when I got off work to see if he really did arrive and she said nothing came for me. Walked in my house and sitting on the dining room table was Kit in all his glorry. Great figure, probably my favorite so far.

Just arrived. Even got a SW/SSC key chain :chew :chew :chew :chew :chew

This is my first 12" direct from SS.

Very cool looking, this one is staying in his box though. So I can't wait for Marc to get his shipment.

Wow. Got a Tracking Update from FedEx! Not a peep from Sideshow and it still says "Shipping Soon" in my account. But it's definitely Kit on the way! He's on the vehicle for delivery... which means I'll get him around 7PM tonight. Ever since my ex-roommate slammed the door on the hand of one of their drivers, I've gotten terrible service from Fed Ex. I think they put my place at the bottom of their dropoff list. :monkey4

Oh, he got his - trust me. The day I came home to find he'd moved out was one of the happiest of my life!

How are you guys getting key chains and stuff? There doesn't seem to be much room in the shipping box to include extra goodies. Are they double boxing it? And if so, why?

i usually don't count on the tracking # but since everyone was getting theirs already, I got desperate. :D specially my brother who lives 2 miles away from me

When I received Anakin it looked like someone at FedEx used the box as a stool. No joke! The figure was fine, but the box was smashed. I wouldn't care except that I think the boxes look great and prefer mine to be in unsquashed condition. So, I called SS and was told I could have my figures double boxed (it just takes a little longer to ship). I've receive other packages from FedEx and UPS in banged up condition before, so I took this option.

I did receive a brand new Anakin box thanks to Aimee. It's just another example of why the people at SSC rock. :rock

My SW key chain was in a packing slip envelope attached to the box. I thought it was an invoice or something until I went to open it. I felt something hard and was like "What the hell is this?" Opened it to see a SSC key chain, thought it was cool but I already have one, then noticed it was the SW version. Quickly took the regular version off my keys and put this one on. So I'll have a SSC keychain to give away next year at SDCC (the first contest for the 2007 SDCC).

My Kit weighs 7lbs, so I'm assuming that it's in another box with extras. Probably a catalog and some other goodies. I'll find out on Saturday.

Did anyone else get the SSC hat that they sent out with the slipcase catalogs?

Crap, I never even looked at those... I guess I better find the boxes now.

Mine hasn't arrived yet, I hope it comes soon!! Weighs 4 lbs though. But I don't really trust the weight measurements from the tracking orders, last week I had a package that had a whole bunch of computer parts that said it was only 2 lbs and of course when it arrived it was a huge packaged and actually weighed like 10 lbs, so I don't know what happened there.

Also, I did find out that the higher shipping cost is normal, so even though it says like $7 shipping on the figure when it's preordered, that value is just a guess so it mostlikely will change by a dollar or two.

That's what I received as earlier posted, expect 4 keyrings, ANOTHER catalogue, ANOTHER DVD, etc.
