Not the gore, First Blood is a classic, and I love the whole series, but what I love most about Rambo 4 is that it mixes all the things I love from 1-3 into a single movie.

Don't forget there's also the Thanksgiving Day marathon and, recently, SyFy did a 3-day marathon beginning New Year's Eve. I hope they continue to do that.

I haven't watched any LOTR film in over four years now. I need to at least give Fellowship a spin soon to see if it's still a Top 3 all-time movie for me.

I have the collection.
I am also due a marathon weekend with my wife.
LOTR might've not had the cultural impact that the OT did, not even close, not even in the same universe really.
But we all know which is the superior trilogy.
The one trilogy to rule them all.
