I'm ot even caring much about the eventual Godzilla meet up right now, I've enjoyed King Kong as many years as Godzilla and right now I'm just excited for wht looks like a very enjoyable film with the character in it and what could end up my most favorite depiction of him to date.

This does seem like a crowd pleaser for what its supposed to be...

Reminds me of the first 'Independence Day' in 1996... ridiculous but fun as hell at the time.

Why is Dr. Steve Brule in this? Is Denny the cameraman going to be in it?

If they have balls they'll end this with battle tested Kong proclaiming his superiority in a major city with Godzilla showing up and as they're about to fight cut to black. :lol

But they'll probably just have an injured Kong mope away sad at the end from his interactions with humans then a boring after credit scene a scientist will show a photo of Godzilla to a g-man.

Can't wait to hear what kind of glorious music Henry Jackman did for this one. :rock

It does have a big-budget Doug McClure vibe about it, like "The Land That Time Forgot" type movies.

Now that's an oldie reference for you guys.
Also "At the Earth's Core" and "Warlords of Atlantis".
Wow, I actually remember watchin' these as a kid...
90's Russian television was freakin' awesome, man!

JP reference? And it's actually a funny one??? Woah! :lol

Parts of that trailer were so very familiar. If there was something Jackson's film did well it was that fight with the multiple T-Rex. Not sure this film will top that.

The Kong vs Rex fight was a highlight, but I already love more how this Kong fights like a human, he's almost like a hairy Hulk.
