the best part people who rant about how horrible a pornstar may be even though they've never hurt anyone in their life, but then turn around and commend this "successful businessman" who has fired hundreds of people, shut down businesses and sent the work to China, literally putting families out on the cold street...

maybe I am mistaken but I recall seeing in the History channel I think how priests would have "visitors" when prostitution was legal, or something like that.
Something about priests paying for services. Like I said maybe I am wrong and misunderstood it. I don't remember where it was I saw it.

We are spiritual beings. EVERYTHING we do is spiritual. There is nothing we do that isn't spiritual. It is either moral or immoral, good or evil. The people can still be selecting people they want to have sex with AND get paid for it. While you do have a point that to have sex with others only for money with little or no concern for the level of compatibility, plenty of non porn stars do that too. They are called trophy wives.
There is nothing stopping someone from having sex with other people that they have rich and meaningful spiritual connections with, and get financially compensated for it and have their expenses paid.
There are plenty of people who do that as the basis of marriage. Some aren't even monogamous.
Some are monogamous, but then, what is the real difference between them and prostitutes, other than the number of their clients? Nothing.
Porn Stars are paid to have sex ON CAMERA, not to have sex with just anyone, like prostitutes. Porn stars pick who they want to work with.
They choose who to work with, and what they will and won't do.
Porn stars can have sex just with their spouses or girlfriend/ boyfriend. There have been cases of that. Yet they still got paid. No, they didn't pay each other, the company producing the movie did. Two people could have a true love relationship and choose to make sex movies as an example to others as well as for entertainment. (It's possible)
Following your belief that doing something for money instead of doing it because you love it has merit, but then, a lot of people would be guilty of that corruption.
There are many kinds of corruption in this world. It isn't fair to point the finger at just one since you don't like it, and not because of actual destruction of people's lives, like the cigarette and alcohol business does. Those things actually kill people.

Some porn stars do have a low moral quality. Those are the ones who do violent porn like bondage and s & m, but that is because bondage and s & m are immoral. Sex is life. It is why we are here. As long as the sex is non violent, there are plenty of much more immoral methods of making money, even ones that are legal.

There's no comparing how low a person would have to stoop to **** on camera to someone who watches it. There's definitely a shared guilt, and I would be remiss to deny it, but I don't hold it on the same level as using women for casual sex, or paying them for it.
What it comes down to is the fact that I can't participate in lesbian sex, and I am a sucker for the chance to live vicariously through them. I confess.
