Hey guys

I really wanna buy this one while the Ex is still in stock but i'm on the fence about grabbing it cuz of all the QC issues i've seen discussed recently and i'm afraid i'll get a damaged one someone's returned.
What do you all suggest??

I lucked out and got a good one. All I can say is buy it. FYI I did have them open her and check her out before shipping. I have SSC do this with all my PFs.

I ask them to, I also told them it would save time and money on there side if they did this. I said it was ok for them to open it and check it. By doing this if i got a bad PF they sent me a bad item. SSC really does not like me as a customer. I know Calif Laws and I used them.

They did not do this once and it cost them the returned shipping and then the replacement to me. They gave them the this and that but in the end they had it in stock so they had to ship it.

Got a lot to consider now, I am tossing up between LD and Vampi...I was waiting for an Ex Vampi but can't find one :( so i'm thinking about settling for the reg

If its not a ex I will not buy it. I did it on two IM but I saved the shipping. Why? Lower numbers, and in the end if I want/wish to sell it a EX will sell faster and for more then a non ex.

This is why I did not get Ivy and Vampi I miss the ex.

Same here! I get Ex's all the time but missed out on Vampi, but i do love the PF of her.
If i missed the Ex on LD I just wouldn't bother cuz the sword doesn't cut it for me.

I have her with the hour glass hand. The sword I had for about a day. I don't care who you are. You cannot have a sword and a syte at the same time. You have to drop one to used the other.

Haha exactly! Holding the scythe and sword at the same time doesn't make sense, the hourglass is much, much better :)

they told us that they were willing to do it twice (with both Storm and Poison Ivy) but no more. Storm arrived and she looked great. Too bad she arrived broken (probably shipping since the strand was in the box) but her heads don't fit on the body :gah:

They didn't check Lady Death and as a result, we got a lot of issues with her. Finally decided to eat the custom fees and just get a full refund. I'm happy to say that we haven't ordered anything this year and we're striving to keep it this way. No other company we've dealt with as such a lousy (or at least, other companies actually have a) quality control or customer service. They guy we have now is really frustrating. They won't transfer the refund to other pre-orders (while they have done so in the past) but want to refund it to our card which brings unnecessary charges/bad exchange rate for us yet again. I know we can't walk away from SSC but consider me a happy girl if we can keep it to one or two statues a year.

Ya I feel bad for the guy. It's only a matter of time. I can tell when a business is going to go under (NEVER GO ON A TV SHOW TO SAVE YOUR BUSINESS). Prices go up, people get let go, the good ones 1st, temps (MWage), replacements and the worst of all Customer Services.


Other then food, Cars, and a handful of little items. We don't make anything. Its the Customer Services that is key to keeping your doors open. I have seen more bad CS as of 2013 then before. I am not just talking about SSC. The main issue people will put up with it. But only to a point. After that point, they will just say I really don't need this.

I will never buy a Burger from Carl's Jr ever again. I have not, its been 3 years.
 
I've made my decision guys! I finally found a brand new Ex Vampi!!! I'm so excited to get her!! :panic:
She's coming from USA so may take about 2 weeks via USPS to reach Australia but I can be patient :lol

Well if anyone that returned theirs and still wants an EX one that doesn't have major defects on it let me know, selling it for what I paid + tax (sorry I'm in ca *grumble grumble*) & shipping.

I feel your pain on this one, and others. Sometimes its just not worth it. I would still have traded the hour glass hand and ex sticker to someone. I have a reg super evil dude and I need his face and hand. Never been able to get one.


As far as SSC new business plan. Your right. I would never and I mean never call any of my customers that spend money with me. A bad customer, when you know you did not let them order off the $1.00 meue or even give them a a dinner an a movie. Well that is bad.
