I feel bad for Valve as this game's sales will most likely be affected by the sheer volume of A-list titles that have all been released over the past few days. I mean, as much as I love Left 4 Dead, I'm being forced to choose between that game and quality titles like Assassin's Creed 2, or Modern Warfare 2, or the God of War Collection. And since a few of those titles have limited collector's editions, I'm obviously going to buy those first so I'm not paying twice their value on eBay in a month's time.

So, unfortunately, L4D2 will not break any sales records, and I'm guessing it won't even break the top 5 videogames sold during the month of November. And that's too bad as they'll take it as a sign that the game simply isn't good, or doesn't appeal to a wide enough audience, rather than chalk it up to bad timing.

I'm glad the campaigns are longer in this game. That's the only thing that I didn't like about the first one.

I just sadly don't have much time to play at all anymore. Life has been crazy busy and I got my dad coming to visit in a few days....ahhhh...all work and no play is making Jen sad.

I did finish reading that second Gears book and that got me all psyched to play those games on campaign again.....but now that I have L4D2 and AC2, they will be taking a back seat. At the rate I'm going, it's going to take me a couple months to finish them. Damn I miss the days when I could finish a game over a weekend.

Anyone playing this on xbox360? - this is the glitchiest console game i think i've ever played, especially when compared to mw2 or uncharted2, its really disappointing, game play is fun tho and the longer campaigns make it better (although a couple of them are just backtracks)

I think Ill be picking up this game and the new RE Wii game. Got myself a $10 coupon, a $40 giftcard, the current save $20 sale at TRU and my discount. Think I can get them both for a decent price.

I wasnt going to get this since mad that Left 4 Dead was super short; my brother got this for me for my bday and glad he did - way, way better than the original.

Anyone else run through the sugarmill without alerting any witches?

I got it done on normal and it was a really pain. I do love how they had the witches walking around and not just sitting there waiting for you to blow there head off.
